I'm merely going to state that there are plenty of amazing singers our there, far talented then many of the 'signed' artists, that are not signed. Companies can't sign everyone, it's not financially feasible to do so. Not everything is based on talent either, they have to see whether they think they can sell you or if you fit an angle that they would like to go for, among various other elements. Talent isn't an auto pass.
