  • Lol. On the contrary. Still better than anything produced by any other band this decade. HC and DBTT were both a bit off as albums, but both still had instant classics on them. However Dig Out Your Soul is absolutely fantastic, as a piece of music as a whole it is one of the best thing's they've ever produced and certainly the best since Be Here Now. If you can't see that then you must have a shite perception of what music is. And as a live band they are still up there with the best.

  • If he is, he seems to love daring his rivals to "out" him. He was picking on Damon Albarn and Phil Collins for going bald. I doubt they mind though; being insulted by Noel Gallagher is probably considered sort of a privilege in those circles. Anyway, he only seems serious when he's talking about music; on that subject, most of what he says seems honest and reasonable. Wonder if the gerbil thing was a reference to Amy Winehouse killing a gerbil (or was it a hamster) by giving it crack.
