  • Such a tender performance. Just love this.

  • JW released this song 40 years ago. then you could swim in biloxi.

  • nice job...makes me want to try my old version...very similar...such a beautiful song...it took me forever to be able to sing it in an acceptable way...there was something about it...the intimacy of it, I suppose.. Thank you.

  • That's beautiful, my friend.

  • OMG people do swim there, water is cleaner than what you find in Florida, it's muddy, but not nasty. The islands keep the silt from washing out so it isn't clear like Florida.

Our marine biology class was always out there. Neat finding arrow heads while hunting for sea life.

  • Guess you're right,

    thanks

  • i think it's "stars can find their faces in the sea".

    great great song, well done.

  • Like this song? Look for the Ted Hawkins-version! Also amazing.

  • please see my rendition of jwinchesters Bilox1 at memeacphail very nice...love this tune

  • Winchester is one of the great singer-songwriter's of the last 50 years. He's a songwriter's songwriter, with ample praise from many including Bob Dylan. Check out Winchester's "Mountain Stage" CD -- just him, a guitar, and the sound system...and his terrific songs he's singing.

  • Still takes me right to the beach. Lovely, lovely rendition. So nice to have this here to listen to.

  • Eww nodody swims there, it's nasty. Pretty song. I've heard Jimmy Buffett sing it, but never knew Jesse WInchester wrote it.

  • It wasn't always nasty there. (daughter of two Auburn grads;)

  • Pretty girls swimming in the sea?? Hahaha Nice but nobody swims in the Biloxi Beach. Nice song

  • I'll tell Jesse!

Unfortunately never been able to check it out myself.

    Thanks for telling.

  • Beautiful!! Such vivid images. And your voice brings this great song to life .

I enjoyed every second of this video.

  • Kippevel krijg ik hier van....en tranen in mijn ogen! Prachtig gezongen.

  • Well sung, sir.

  • Prachtig Ruud heb er met genoegen naar gekeken

    Groeten Aad

  • Oh what a perfect song this is... it always puts me right there at the beach with the salt spray and the smell of the ocean. I love this one well. Great job of it Rudy!
