  • Is this the same method that is used when making custom foam inserts? If not, what methods are used to fabricate custom foam inserts?

Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • @InNateWeTrust

Yes, this is exactly how to make foam inserts. (I assume for concrete form liners or block-outs, but applies to other industries too.)

    Process:

Start with the design -> CAD drawing -> machining -> use

  • just WOW from France

  • Can you cut divinylcell foam? I believe the lightest is 30 lbs/ cubic meter. I would like to form a glider wing.

  • clean and simple. I like it. Do you glue blocks of foam together? and would that impede the efficiency of the cut? What densities of foam are available?

  • Jeremy,

Although you can cut blocks that have been glued together using our hotmelt adhesive glue and 3200 or 6300 glue gun, it will cut a bit slower and we don't usually do that.

We generally start with large blocks (approx 4'x4'x8'). You can find a list of block molders on our website under FAQ's. These companies supply 1 lb to 2 lb per cubic foot density EPS foams.

  • what is it retail price ?

  • awesome
