  • thanks, it works for me, the gpedit.msc didn't located in system32, but in winsxs (search it!).

  • nope!it didnt work for me.

  • lol, what is the difference between starter and home basic?they both are same!come on mayne

  • It does work but--it uses the .dll from XP so what you get is a version that is NOT complete for Win 7. It does not give options to change some things in IE9 for example. Such as turning off that annoying notification for addons slowing the browser.

  • If you're using x64: Copy the file: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\gpedit.msc" to

    "C:\Windows\System32\gpedit.msc"

  • @iSuckPCs tyvm this helped more than a fuckton of websites and especialy this stupid vid. thumb him up guys.

  • @Aurescoloris Do you have 64-Bit edition?

  • works ...THNXX DUDE !

  • It doesn't work, i ran the setup but when i run gpedit.msc it says its missing

  • @monster3x3 LMFAO wow figured out the problem, I had to search "gpedit.msc" in the local "C" drive.

  • @infinitypark003 Home Premium.

  • @infinitypark003 It just doesn't ha ha. I've tried it several times.

  • @superknight175216 What version of Windows 7 you have?

  • Doesn't work

  • @superknight175216 How can this not work? I clearly ran this under Home Premium, which DOES not include GPEDIT when you first install It. After installing this software, you can get the group policy editor.

  • Follow the description down below and you get the link, don't see the description or like to get the editor.

  • Great Tip! Even though I'm a Windows 7 Ultimate user, I'll still use it if I get a computer with 7 Home Premium or Starter or something.

How come it wasn't widescreen? The video resolution in Sony Vegas should be 856x480 (480p) or 1280x720 (720p).

  • @IBMThinkPadR51 This video IS in Widescreen. I don't know why the Intro's aspect ratio is different than the actual video footage. I will fix that in the next video.
