Hallo!
Just wanted to thank you for posting this. I don't understand German, but your demonstration is the best that I've seen! Here's a question if you're still checking this... How tight do you get the top and bottom rails? I feel like it needs to be really tight, but when I tighten, I get uncomfortable pressure points under my arms. And I don't want my 2-month old to sag, but I don't want to cut off his ciruclation, either.
@kodi711 I put my newer version of the wcc into the video answers. Please, try to pull the top rail down your shoulders when fastening the wrap (as shown in the other vid). You'll avoid putting too much pressure under your arms then. You know that the wrap is tightly fixed around your baby when you bend forward and your child stays close to your body without falling into the wrap. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I'm using a Didymos Babywrap. A good wrap should be not too stretchy, not too thick. It should hold the baby very tight to the wearer, without giving way. A good wrap should be easy to handle after a few times of using.
She is now 3 months and she loves to move her arms. She gets angry when I leave her arms inside.... I cannot find information about this anywhere... when can I "stop" supporting her head? When can I carry her sideways... HELP :-)
If she likes to have her arms out, give it a try. She should be able to hold her head by herself now. It needs to be supported when she sleeps.
Carrying sideways is possible from first day on if you use a technique which fits the age. Just check on my other vids, I highly recommend the RingSling or the Hip cangaroo carry with the wrap.

Just one more question... what kind of fabric are you using in your video? I have a cotton one (quite strong and thick)...

my baby is 2 months old, is it ok to leave out the legs like that?
Carmpien 2 years ago
Yes, it is!! no pbl for the legs, you should leave the arms inside to better stabalize the spine, but you can leave the legs out!
