For those that prefer otherwise liberala and anyone else taking shots at our country, I thnk Chavez just got the OK to be a full dictator today and now everyone has a place to go live if they don't like America. What's that goal worth in terms of dollars & sacrifice of men & military resources? IMHO our troops could be much better used elsewhere! The "WAR" ended with removal of Saddam over 3yrs ago! How can 150K troops occupy 30 million people & stop centuries of ethnic & religious violence? Ending the occupation is correcting an error. Staying longer compounds the error! Shouldn't have been put there in the first place! But, it's not worth US money nor lives! It's NOT our fight!

Do they have enoughof a drive to maintain their way of life and not get stopped by a neighboring country??? All in all, do you think they are ready to "fend" for themselves???
No it wouldnt do "Iraq" any good if we pulled out, it would just crumble to pieces, unlike Vietnam. The solution now is very complex, i cant pretend comprehending on how to solve it. But im realy frustrated as an American about this situation, which is largely caused by the current administration. If they cannot solve this problem its time to kick them out and get someone in with fresh ideas. I can't say this would be a great idea either but lets just get crazy and see what happens!

Besides, I'm a medic....I save lives for a living, not take them... and that includes treating the local population... so you can't preach to me about what we have lost over there...I've had their blood on my hands....the ones I've saved and the ones I've lost.... and I don't regret one second of it...
