is that bass from the mpc?.....also if u have an mpc would u be able to plug in a midi keyboard to the mpc and play the bass sound from the mpc on the midi?
@stokezbeats there's no patch phrase on the 2000xl... You slice the sample into zones then assign them to the pads. If you pitch the sample before you zone slice it, it will assign the sample at the new pitch to the pads, otherwise you gotta manually change the pitch for each pad or slice. Once you get used to it, it takes about 30 seconds. I haven't used patched phrase on the 2500 but I have a 1000 (as well as a 2000xl) and the patched phrase function on the 1000 pretty bad, xl kills it.
@Rapstarpoet , thanks man. I dont have an mp3 of this anymore. I will check to see if i still have it saved on my mpc and if i have you can use it for sure.
Ayo, simplistic but sick-wit-it regardless. Like yo steeze man. keep at it, the best of em do it for the funk of it, not the cash. The cash is jus the icing on the cake...
Hey Fabiozmusic, not anyone could just do this beat. Everyone has a different feel, or a different vibe when it comes to creating production. It's all in how you're going to administer it, start it off and set other elements to flow with it. Now had YOU done this beat, it would've sounded a whole lot different.
Nice beat ! A yo check out my part 7 where I black out to a Dark Track With some ill samples from Television shows from the 60's then its back to a hiphop chop track with a sample check it out and leave me some feed back !!!!
MMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNN this sh*t is fire you should use it or sell it.

hey Jdepina, what is the track info for that guitar riff?
(if you want to say, that is ;) )
just It sounds like the original would be a nice song to relax to.
and 5 stars as usual on the beat!
WHY THE F**K ARE YOU NOT SIGNED YET?!?
hehe for real though, i know ive said it again and again -
you have raw talent!
its your material like this that i like most.
stuff you can just close your eyes to and drift away to that place we all have :)
hendrixphish420 1 year ago
Ha ha I think you got the wrong person lol
J DePina's stuff is dope but he didnt make this. I made this. This is on my channel :)
If youre still wondering about the sample for this though, its from Gladys Knights version of the Etta James song 'At Last'.

haha i noticed that after i posted it. i had one of his vids up in a new tab. 2 mpc vids back to back can confuse. but yeah man this is tight as fuck.
that little "do-doo" of the guitar... so mellow and positive.
everything i said in the first comment stands true though man. pure talent.
hendrixphish420 1 year ago
yes, that bassline is so overbassed, it damages whole dynamics of the beat. but except that very nice beat!! good samples...
