I think the reason the inkeeper's wife keeps feeding you so much garlic is so that she can make sure you're not a vampire.

I'm pretty sure the torch is magical, and thus never burns out. Doesn't explain how the hero is able to keep it in his backpack or pants or wherever, though.

I like how the theme music kicks in when you step outside town for the first time, like in the first game.

It's interesting, you do a very detailed Let's Play and stuff much like AVDRipper's run through, whereas I just sorta go through the basic essentials of the game, as if just playing casually. I guess different styles for different people hehehe

If you get locked out of the town at night I think you can also rest at Erana's peace (or garden, or whatever it was called in this game).

I love the fade from day to night and vice-versa in this game, as well... It's one of the best graphical effects I've seen in any Sierra adventure, methinks. :)

I'll sleep near the Staff eventually... Just not tonight.

You can't click on the plate hercrabbiness :-P

The hero CAN use the chest for storage, if you put something in there (click the item on it).

Also, you type very loudly, heh.

Luckily our hero's quite content to sleep with his backpack full of inventory items. And yeah, I know I type loudly, it's a method perfected through years of practice.

Yes you can. It's just a little hard to click on the right spot since the hand keeps moving around and the plate's so small... But you *can* do it, I promise!

I'm just curious, why you didn't spec your character to have magic abilities?

Because the magic system in this game doesn't allow you to cast spells by typing the spell name. I strongly dislike that.

sheeping at Erana's staff or Erana's guarded makes you have some weird dreams.

I think if you click on the plate while you're still sitting down, the game says you pick at it for a few spare crumbs, but you can't actually get garlic from it.

Perhaps they wanted to make the game more accessible for European audiences. The game's also available in a German version.

To be fair it's not just hentai adventures. Even innocuous Japanese "adventure games" employ the same mechanics of only advancing the events after you've stared at a wall enough times.
