I have the same exact bird and, he makes the same sounds. To me it sounds like he is saying Kerry, Kerry, Kerry as in Sen. John Kerry but, my bird adds crook at the end. So, he says Kerry, Kerry, Kerry crook..lol

i have just rescued a female from a aviary full of males she had no feathers on her head! The problem is my bird Ray a male is completely not interested in me anymore, he was singing addams family and letting me stroke his head before, i've only had him bout 10 months . Now all they do is shag!!!! Is is guaranteed they are going to have eggs?

Guys plz help me, my cockatiel makes the same noises all day but he is alone in his cage. Also , since he started making these noises, he has not responded to my calling him either. This isnt bad is it? (BTW I only got him a few weeks ago but he still used to respond. HELP.

@ShardsofFun Maybe he is making the mating noises at you :) our old female would only respond when my dad would talk to her. Don't know what to say about him responding previously, though.. :/

its mating season, move the cage to a different spot in the room for a few days at a time, this will disrupt the mating cycle and return him to normal. Repeat as needed. lower the window shades to make the room darker.
