  • One of the people with a knife was Lana Skye, but was the other one supposed to be Mike Meekins or Jake Marshall?

  • *Spoilers*

Basically this intro seems to mix and match multiple things:

Two simultaneous murders (like what is assumed for the first quarter or so of the case),

Rain/Lightning storm - referencing to SL-9 (which could mean the two sillouettes are actually Neil Marshall and possibly Lana Skye),

The switchblade and broken pot are key items with regards to SL-9 (the blade is important to this case too),

The blue badger is quite possibly supposed to represent the pot on Gant's shelf, in tact.

  • This case was f*****g epic.

  • I didn't get the intro until I finished the case. I was like "OOOHHH" xD

  • 1 thing I like about this intro is how DAMN COOL it is.

  • Contradiction to this case: Lana doesn't mention Mr. White from Case 2 when he sent the chief of prosecutors to take him away. Also in this case, the evidence law is presented, however it is ignored in every other case in the series.

  • @narutorox123456 Because the other cases didn't break evidence law

  • @TheKYLEdavid Not true. Check court-records for the "Story Contradictions"

  • Yeah. I don't think this intro is inconsistent. The weirdness is from that it combines events of the SL-9 incident with the current murder investigation... but everything presented here does apply to those cases. But taking it literally for the current case(s) could throw you off.

  • This intro's confusing, but if you look at it, the only out of place thing is the Blue Badger doll. the people with the knives are Darke and Lana...only obviously not at the same time.

  • Okay, to be honest, I think this is probably the most epic intro in all of the ace attorney games... I don't care if it's not all that completely "accurate" with what happened in the case...It's simply epic ^^

  • @alexmarauder: It breaks the style of the other intros and gives the reader false information in doing so. Anything from the other intros was all true, just misrepresented, but they were still valid clues. If you apply the same logic here, you think what happens in this video is true but misrepresented, while it simply isn't true.

The other intros demonstrate quite clearly that it's possible to confuse the player without revealing the truth.

  • Ah, but any way you slice it, this intro messes with your head the first time you watch it, and always leaves you feeling a bit dizzy when you watch it again...

  • I sort of feel that this story had some plotholes here and there. Sort of like how Meekins was being accused of the simultaneous murder yet he was the one who was sent to report this to Edgeworth.

  • *Awesome* I love this turnabout! ^___^

  • Downright epic.

  • can someone tell me why the blue badger is just sitting there? and didn't the switchblade break when it was thrown at that pottery?

  • Like I posted below: "Yeah, that's what I don't like about this intro. Every other intro only shows you true stuff, but in such a way that it confuses you. This intro just gives false info, with the rain, two Lanas and the Blue Badger."

Unlike the other intros, this one doesn't only contain 100% correct information.

  • @VDZx There are two shadows in the intro. You can't really see who it is. And the blue badger is there. He's just not a part of the story.

  • We'd tell you, but it'd involve spoilers.

  • SPOILERS ALERT!

negatory. the switch blade knife wasnt the real murder weapon. it was a spear. when the spear killed him, the tip broke off, and they forged that tip into making them think it was from the knife. the knife was already broken.

  • Wait, Where was the spear from?

  • it was on a knights armor display. he was holding a spear, and marshall had been pushed into him.

BIG SPOILER THAT WILL MAKE U GO WTH!?!?!

EMA IS THE REAL MURDERER OF MARSHALL

  • SPOILER ALERT! HOLD IT! How come Ema doesn't even seem to care that she killed Marshall?

  • @RubberDuckyDan321 She didn't know untill Phoenix proves it

  • ooohhhhh...right thanks

  • @shoopdewooooooop Uhh... If you say so...

The case kinda proved that false, but ok...

    SPOILER!

Considering Gant was Neil Marshall's murderer...

  • @clilmama33830 yeah, i finished the game after i posted that comment, so ur right :P

  • @RubberDuckyDan321 Badger- Ema Skye saw the silhouette of the badger at the scene of a past murder connected to this case. Switchblade- It was used in the current case, while the vase was broken during a past murder

  • Aaaah. This intro creeps me out every time I see it. O.o

  • Creepy!

  • actually it was raining during sl-9 so thats probably why its raining

  • Theres actually a contradiction in this intro

U can see that it is raining but since edgey's car had to move from one building to the other it would've been outside, but when u look at the crime scene, edgey's car is clean. strange...

  • Yeah, that's what I don't like about this intro. Every other intro only shows you true stuff, but in such a way that it confuses you. This intro just gives false info, with the rain, two Lanas and the Blue Badger.

  • @TheBlueMarth because the rain cleaned his car for him, rain is made out of water you know

  • @TheKYLEdavid i meant why is the car dry

thanks for replying to a comment that i made 3 years ago

  • @TheBlueMarth You're welcome for replying to the comment you made 3 year ago, and its dry because the murder was 2 days before the investigation

  • Im stuck on the secound trial boo hoo! Also I think the was mia fey with the knife

  • Actually, that's Lana Skye, the defendant in Rise from the Ashes.

  • How can it be Mia if Mia's dead..? Haven't you been paying attention to the storyline AT ALL? >_>;

  • i love this intro awesome graphics and then when u see two people in two places u feel like wtf is going on?

  • @CCrockyourass

because this was the longest case in any ace attorney game?

  • This one scared me xD

  • this one was one of the scarier ones 0_0 my fave case on all the games so far.

  • Did you play this on an emulator?

  • Yes. (no$gba)

  • Very clean. I'm convinced.
