you know, purists will say that that is not an actual tensegrity because the horizontal plates touch the compression elements (actuators). But otherwise it would not work because of the excess degrees of freedom. excellent work!
Thanx, it's true that it is not the pure definition of tensegrity. This was a step in creating a stiff structure during opening an folding (and not only in the final position).
