  • Thanks for the condolences; they're slowly getting back on their feet but it'll take some time to do so.

Tinkerbell (the cat) was skittish around people but she loved my mother and step-father.

My mother did mention that the PL fire department (as well as Micro and Selma) got there as quickly as possible and tried to save the house; we're more than appreciative.

  • luvscats69, that was my mother's house; they lost almost everything (including their cat). I'm just thankful that they weren't at home at the time.

  • @silverlightstar I'm very sorry for your mother's loss! I'm sorry about the cat also. I have a cat, he's a a pain but he's my buddy. I'm glad they weren't home either. Unfortunately I've helped carry some out of the rubble of a burnt home who weren't that lucky. I went behind the fire truck from Pine Level and I can tell you they got there as fast as possible.

  • It's very sad for those how lived there.

Everything you built up is gone.

Mabey one luck they were not at home at the time of fire.

  • That is really sad to see a nice home like that go up in flames and smoke. The people that lived were out of town and they must have lost everything except what they had with them.

  • @zaffdoc It really is sad. The fire depts. didn't

waste time getting there either. The wind did not helpeither.

  • ohh no, no wasting time... when a firefighter hears "code blue", "Choking", "reported condition red", or "extrication", those are code words for HURRY THE HELL UP!!! lol.
