  • One of the best action movies ever?

  • put together :

0:36 of "Welcome to the Jungle" By Guns N'Roses

    +

0:05 of this video... (without sound)

    and enjoy "GTA:THE MOVIE" XD

  • Thumbs up if you like the sound effects under the music!!!!!

    Police car, chopper and more!!!!

    Because i very like it

  • Hehe a sample from the Spyro the Dragon level Tree Tops can be heard in this track :) Its from a library of loops by Spectrasonics

  • Epic intro

  • I think that I feel very sorry for an American. The reason is because there "is not freedom of speech as for the reason at all in U.S.A. even if I do not notice that an American is influenced by Illuminaty, and some people notice it for many years".

  • Action movies just aren't the same anymore.

  • @silverberetta17 I don't think so. In fact, Enemy of the states was precursor of the modern action movies: government conspiracy stuff... Like all these Jason Bourne movies, or these tv shows like 24, the shield. Its totally the same thing. Action movies were really different (and better in my opinion) in the 80s, with actors like Bruce Willis, Stallone, Schwarzy and director like Mctiernan, Cameron, Carpenter... Time has changed.

  • @Glassman454 So we're in agreement?

  • @Glassman454 Movies did not change by accident. Movies are always a reflection of what is happening in the real world politically and / or socially. This was true in the 60's -70 - 80 - 90's and it is true today.

  • Now anyone in the world can view anybodies house. This film was the future, and its almost scary.

  • Trevor Rabin is the man=)

  • The NSA is far to sophisticated in technology and powerful. Yeah its bad ass that the United States is the richest and most powerful nation on earth. But I think if that technology falls in the wrong hands, some serious damage can be done.I sense that The Director was trying to send a message and it did... But I would suppose all agencies from around the world do that not just the states. You cant trust anyone thats just pathetic and sad... I totally agree with HDefense

  • Ridly and Tony Scott. This brothers is amazing!!!

  • this is a Great action movie!!

  • this movie was ahead of its time.

  • yeah it was the first movie to use satellites like that and it freaked everyone out

  • CLASSIC

  • I AM

    The Bester EVER

  • Imagine the world after 1000 years

Houses under core, oceans, mars, moon, europa.

    Flying machines,even time travel

    hahaha

  • Ok, this movie was made in a different era, american innocence. Now: did you learn the lesson? Will you act like a liberal histeric when gov tries to protec Nacional Security? Wake Up buddy, Do the Right thing, get it?

  • movie was made in the 1990's, makes refernce to a bill remarkably simular to the patriot act. talks about how terrorest acts like buildings falling down will change peoples priorities, that the usa is at war with terrorests, and if civil liberties need to be ignored to protect the... state.. fine. Even makes refernce to one person coming to power on... 9/11.

alot of the film forshadows what actually happened in the usa.

  • So its that song being used in Tibet always belongs to China.

  • Harry Gregson-Williams = legend

  • My friend Steve Bugg is in the intro running from the police after car jacking someone in Dallas and getting in a car chase. He is at 1minute 19 seconds into the intro.

  • Im the police officer that kicked your ass back then and I say STFU!

  • if you freeze the video at .44, that looks like the scene when (dean) was being chased in the tunnel.

  • thats becasue it is lol

  • Awsome movie, great actors,no words its just great.

  • intro reminds me of GTA2.

  • hah , me too, i used to purposely get 5 starts in gta 2 after i saw this, and try to get away on foot for as long as possible

  • stars*

  • anyone else thinks gene hackman makes this move?

  • Gene Hackman makes any movie he's in! Even if the story and supporting characters sucks he still manages to hold it togather. He is truly a dying breed of actors.

  • yes he is and this move really deos bring back memerys.

  • John Voight did a good job as the NSA director too, but I agree with Scoonertuna about Gene Hackman.

  • t was on bbc last night

    its awsome

  • this movie kicks ass. I love the gangsters in it. That Pinterro guy. LOLOL. Federal Governmnet make Video Tape??? LOLOL

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!!

    I just LOVE this score!!!

  • the music with the intro is sweet this movie is off the chain 1 of a kind

  • I love this movie, because it has a really cool intro with actual footage from real police chases. Great movie.

  • barry pepper is the man! :p

  • This movie is way ahead of its time. Too bad the things in this movie became real. Nobody tried to stop it. One day that will change. Pre 9/11 conspiracy stuff. I was amazed just amazed when I saw the year on this movie. 1998. Yes you heard me 1998. That's amazing prediction. It feels like it came out yesterday.

  • you are so right.... when i first saw this film back in 98 i was sittin there with mouth wide open.

  • yeh this is a classic movie and way ahead of it's time this is up there with the all time greats

  • Ahead of it's time? Not really, it was 1997, lots of films and books had been released which talked about conspiracy, government agencies commiting murder, big brother etc.

  • im wondering if the international will anyting like this as in equally good or better?

  • One of Jerry Bruckheimer's weakest films was Pearl Harbor. That movie wasn't that great.

  • this music with the chorus is so fuckin gooooood man

  • The score to this theme was phenomenal i thought for the first time watching it.

Is it me, or does Jerry always ends up with great scores to a movie. lol Example, The Rock.

Good structure and idea for an opening cred. ;)

  • Hans Zimmer is the man. He's a genius.

  • Jerry Bruckheimer. One of the best producers there is. Enemy of the State, Deja Vu, Pirates of the Carribean, Remember the Titans, Bad Boys, Con Air, The Rock, and Black Hawk Down. Those are so good films.

  • man on fire ... baby

  • good movie but why do they show stupid cop chase footage? they should have done more of this satellite imagery stuff.

  • thats what you would see. lmao

  • That's because it's trying to show how the police are bad. What they should have shown is innocent people getting arrested or tasered it would have made the intro look more realistic but you have to remember it was 1998 so 9/11 didn't happen yet!! This movie is way ahead of its time.

  • ahah big brother is watching you =)

  • watch?v=Bz5zZ1zslTM

  • Jerry Bruckeimer is the best of the best. The Rock, Armaggeddon, Enemy of the State and Transformers...

  • Except Transformers isn't Bruckheimer. It's directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg.

  • And the one at 1:30 please to XD

  • Can anyone tell me whats the name of that song in the begining after the dog. I really want to know, thanks on advance!

  • even though this movie came out in 1998 it still is a good one.

  • This was a good one i saw it on HBO the other day.

  • Even though this movie was made in '98 this is still wat the Govt. does to the citizens they track us and look at us without warrants and if ur wanted they WILL find u, u cant hide anymore.

  • wow... can you say The New American Century?

  • Pretty sure the movie was made before 9/11 and the PATRIOT Act.

Regardless it is an excellent piece of cinema and deserved more publicity. Complacency is too wide-spread in regards to government these days.

  • with the way communications works these days it's almost impossible to hide your identity anywhere now.

  • I love this movie! Thanks for posting this! what's the name of this song?

  • i have the soundtrack on my pc i can send it to you if you whant!

  • I d like to have it to. But i cant download it, maybe u wanna send me it, or upload it :D

    Thanks THANKS

    -td-

  • the song is the "main theme" of the movie... the OST is from Trevor Rabin
