  • @EFGsrMonster depends on what u looking to do 15 should get u into the 700 plus area

  • doyoudriveit on the road

  • how much boost r u running?

  • Shops strap down the car less tight because it makes much better dyno numbers. it also allows for some movement through the drivetrain for safety. as long as the maxim travel doesnt let it off the dyno, then its perfectly fine. ive done the research . my evo on my dyno put down almost 35 more whp loosely strapped. and thats in the mid 400s. it gets worse/better as you go up in hp at 1000 whp strapping it loose will get you about 100 whp more. just food for thought. eeeeeeeeee vo

  • how many rpms do you twist daily with this car, and wht internals do you have

  • dude, they need to strap that thing down tighter

  • my sister chas was telling me about this evo for some time now. its a fucking animal great job she will have to bring her little bro over sometime to see it!!

  • Someone needs to tighten those straps ;)

  • and my question is why are they using 2.3 litre everywhere I read its always 2.0 is best cause it handles the high rpm's better... but i see here they take it to about 8K on the 2.3 block...???

  • cuz the 2.0 on a race setup spins 10k rpms to make better use of the big turbos . the stroke is only increased a lil bit , so with well crafted con rods it will handle the abuse better . but if that guy went with buschur parts he would be making more power . ams is number 2

  • thats pretty much what I said besides the buschur part, a built 2.0 block handles revs no problems compared to a 2.3 block which is based for torque and road races

  • i was just holdin you down ... my next car is gunna be a white evo 9 rs

  • I got 06 MR worst purchase ever I wish i wouldve gone with the rs

  • sell it and hop on the bandwagon . i heard once you put some power through the 6 speed it likes to break ... what dont you like about it ?

  • ya the tranny is garbage I put 6000 in to it already I'm possibly going to put a 30r kit on there soon and when I get back to the states have shepherd trans 5 speed put in or the buschur transmission get put in

  • shep and buschur both make bad ass trannys . are you wanting triple syncros 1st - 3rd and straight cut gears ? 30r is very nice , i have a 3076r in my garage right now on a nice ramhorn manifold . dave buschur has a 35r on pump gas that runs 10s all day and its a full street car .

  • ya i know no cut gears probably and ya I can get a 30r that has 300 mileson it and the full turbo kit like UICP LICP FMIC BOV downpipe wastegate manifold all of it for 2,000$ I have all that stuff already except the mani... I run right nor a 11.9 on stock turbo, stock ecu, and 93 pump

  • @Red97Avenger if you dont mind me asking whats wrong with the 6 speed i plan on getting an evo soon and was thinking about an evo 8 mr is that the best to get?

  • the rs is alot lighter than the mr . also when using a bigger turbo and more boost , the 5 speed will let you hold boost longer in each gear compared to the 6 speeds . and because the 6 speeds are weaker trannies then the 5 speeds .

  • @harimdelonge mr 6 speed trannies go out frequently and as the other guy said you can't hold as much boost because it's distributed between 6 gears instead of 5. go with the gsr or rs. but if your a canyon kid, get the mr. mr handles much better in canyons.

  • nice evo !! Y? ppl tunn more evo 8 them evo 9 ???

  • tuners dont really like the evo 9 cause it has mivec the mitsubishi version of vtec... its hard to mess with those settings when they have to think about the mivec kicking in evo 8 doesnt have it at all...

  • ohh iight thx

  • the mivec engines only have the variable timing on the intake cam . usually the exhaust cam is replaced with a hks 272 and intake cam is left stock . i prefer a evo 9 over 8

  • so much power...

  • That car is all over the place:) Nice power!! Is this a regular 37r or an HTA 37r? The spool doesn't seem to bad if it's a non hta.

  • thats true, you can do alot with aem ems

  • is it me or did a check engine light come on when you went wot

  • its probably programed to signify something, like some times people use check engine light for shift light. maybe it signifies that his water meth is spraying or something.

  • water / meth is on its own tune , not the part of the cars ecu . it also has its own gauge .

  • congratullations nice evo!!! how much does it cost sheeptrans transfer and gearbox to be done??? does it work well or it breaks?? thanks and again nice evo

  • oooo fack

  • is that a twin disc or triple disc clutch??

  • damn, that car is moving around a ton..... does it need to be strapped down better?

  • yes

  • Did you ever run it and what were ur time and speed??

  • were thos 9000 or 8 and a half shifts? because thats kinda crazy

  • How you like the 37R? Just got mine back and still in the breaking in process.

  • Very nice. That's more HP than I'm pushing with a SIX.

Sorry to go off topic, but I've gotta know, what is that song playing at the end of the vid? Sounds like Crystal Meth.

  • man im jealous..lol

  • Sick!
