Remember growing up in NW Ohio watching Indiana games on Ft. Wayne station with my dad. Watched this game and was laughing my ass off. Saw plenty of tantrums watching Ohio State football with Woody Hayes and Indiana basketball with Knight.

To the guy that said Purdue hasn't done shit in all this time. False. PU has more BIG Ten titles then anyone (22) IU has 5 NC's. IU does have a better tradition, but if you are going to come on here and bash PU atleast crawl out from under the rock and do some research.
Xavier, ND, LSU, Wyoming, NW, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Utah all claim a Helms National championship or pre tournament NC.

I love that a 95% free throw shooter when 3/6 at the line for the technicals. Obviously, Knight got into the players' heads. Greatest of all time

@BoilerByBlood Purdue's "one championship" you refer to was voted on by members of the media...Purdue didn't do anything or beat anybody in any tournament to deserve that "title." If that's the only "title" you refer to that's "proudly hanging in Mackey Arena" then you really set your standards high dont you? Oh, IU has technically won an NIT championship too so that makes our total 6...whoaaa. Fact is, no one gives a s*** about a voted championship. Get a REAL banner and get back to me.
