One was also a huge hit on MTV, also before the black album. All 3 of those albums sold extremely well. The Black album itself, with Enter Sandman on it, was released in 91 same year as Nevermind. They were originally going to show all three on MTV, over time, but they ended up only showing this version, and then later the version of them starting as a pop group, then changing into dresses halfway through.

The other version was of them playing as the pop group through the whole video, with the solo being a shot of Kurt's bobbing head, and as soon as the solo ends, it cuts to the guitar...
