Scapegoat Wax was originally part of Grand Royal Records, but when that label folded, moved on to Hollywood Records before eventually splitting up not long after the release of SWAX, in favor of returning to their indie label roots. Front-man Marty James and MDA became a part of a similar sounding band called One Block Radius in 2003, and continue to produce music together.
