Pro tip: Set the bit right at 1/2" is just a half-hair less, or you'll be carving bits of wood off both the pins and tails. Setting the depth gauge a half-hair deep when cutting the pins will make the fit tight.
is the porter cable 4210 capable of making full dovetails, or is it for half-blind dovetails? are all dovetail jigs capable of making full and half, or are they two different jigs?
I wouldn't suggest the air compressor the clean the dust. Any high speed cutting machine is going to produce fine dust, which is hazardous to the lungs.

it should come with 6 thumb screws otherwise you have to keep removing from one side to the other total pain,unless you buy some at store. lame.

This is the best $40 I ever spent. You need to make sure your bit is not too deep into the collet or the collet cuts into the jig.
