Horrible studio audience right? I wonder if any of them watched this later and thought, wow what an uptight jerk I was! Freaking amazing live version of In my teeth. I love this band.
Manchester is, in my opinion, the best band touring. Unbelievable live. Andy Hull sings with such conviction and its makes every performance seem like the first time he has sung those songs. I'm so glad these guys are getting out there, the world needs this type of music. Can't wait for the new album!
This song reminds me of Nirvana... Its like Kurt Cobain came back from the dead, wrote this song for them, punched the lead singer of the vines in the face, then went back to his grave...
This song always makes me think of Nirvana... Like Kurt Cobain came back from the dead, wrote a song for Manchester Orchestra, Punched the lead singer of the Vines in the face, then died again...
@taylorblaine16 Their new album was literally one of the best albums of 2009??? If you loved them so much before for Im like a virgin how do you not love the steps they took with this?
that just makes you ignorant, because its a great album and they became a bigger indie success because of it. Also its lyrically more advanced and its about himself. I don't see what you don't like about it, other than the fact that your scared that you think you were the only one who knew about them, which obviously wasn't true.
@taylorblaine16 wow. first of all, calm yourself. second, google image search "will smith pursuit of happyness" and tell me the 4th picture doesn't look just like him.
@musicdrum1234 I disagree about the "more energetic than Jeremiah" part. Jeremiah was a monster on his kit. Len is a fantastic drummer as well, and a great fit for MO. I honestly don't see either one of them as being better or worse, more or less energetic. I just miss Jeremiah's mustache...
my all time favorite band, if you haven't seen them live, you are really missing out. and what the hell, what happened to Jeremiah? i don't get why he would leave especially when the band is bigger than ever:| hope he comes back
@adrianrnfilms The media outlets of the scene are talking it up as this dramatic thing but really Jeremiah just got tired of the road. He has a wife and a home and family. And then he runs FavGents so its hard to be in a band and run a label. He couldn't give the artists on the label the attention they deserved. They're still good friends but he won't go back full time.
Am I the only one that's like...really, really upset that Jeremiah isn't with the band right now? Does anyone know if this is permanent or just for the current tour or what?
@SorrowToSerenity It's kind of up in the air according to an article I read. Jeremiah left the band to dedicate more time to Favorite Gentlemen, but will be in and out of Manchester Orchestra along with a few other players.
@SorrowToSerenity as far as I understand he's not touring anymore. He's now focusing on running their label (Favorite Gentlemen) and being married. From what I hear he'll still be helping out on the albums.
New drummer ya say? Well Colour Revolt wasn't working out for him anyway, glad he hopped on a band with tons more consistency. Andy Hull can do no wrong.
what a great band to see live. I haven't watched them play the "Mean Everything To Nothing" album live yet, but I imagine I'd be moving quite a bit more than this crowd was if given the chance.
GIRL DIED IN 1993, A MAN BURIED HER IN HER OWN home when she was still alive. The murderer chanted, "Toma sota balcu" as he buried her. Now that you have read the chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the night she will stand at the side of your bed starring straight int your eyes. She will suffocate you like she was suffocated. This story is sadly true. If you post this 5 differnt times she will not
Okay is that Rivers Cuomo from weezer at the front??? on the left hand side like the only one with some entusiam sorry for bad spelling
