Salut Jordan, je ne parle pas français tres bien. Alors, mon logiciel pour avoir le song de YouTube, c'est un script pour GreaseMonkey. Greasemonkey est un prolongation de web browser Firefox.

Pour l'acoustique d'enregistrement, j'utilise Audacity (c'est Open Source et gratuit). Et pour faire la vidéo, j'utilise Adobe Premiere Pro (pas Open Source ou gratuit, mais moi, je ne paye rien, si tu me comprends ;)

I talk about my impro style, did you learn alone ? I did and it appear to me that you learnede alone, and let me guess I am far to be an expert but you are more classical, lyrical and django style than bluesy and Hendrix like Matt. Like in your song third wing which I like. But desesperately Matt is also lyrical, sort of Pat Metheny sometimes.

Funkwurm, sorry for my bad english, I am not scaled as you are but my style is quite close, my "hard" sound is closer to yours than to Matt sound here, but I have to admit that Matt sounds much more naturally (sort of natural sound vs rough electric/machine , it may be subjective) and I would like to know how, I can easelly set my guitar (humbucker) and my digital "amp" (korg D4) to get the same sound you have but I never got Matt sound, I know he is talented but it is not the matter here.

hehehe, I used to yeah, I now use the regular minor scale primarily, which is pentatonic +2 other notes. Then there are some licks that use notes beyond that, 1 is a thingy I do in a lot of solo's and started out as a mistake that I kinda liked and kept :P the other is because Matt uses the note as well, so I'm sure I can as well ;)

But props for hearing that my main focus is still pentatonic, since I started out there. I only use other notes when I'm really sure they're alright.
