I've since gone back and tried again, and to this day I have trouble lasting 'til the end of this song in Audiosurf, despite how much better I've gotten at playing.

The movie was a last minute attempt to enter a filmmaking contest after spending a month failing to finish what would have been a worthwhile entry; I got as far as shooting the new idea, but hated the audio and the way I look on camera, so I gave up on it. The original plan, however, is something I've been working on for years, and it will get finished eventually.

Yes, "Power" was quite a challenge, and I'm sorry to say I don't think I can manage eight minutes of that. My wrist is killing me.

Sorry, man, I've been busy; the short film I mentioned in my previous reply turned out to be a real piece of crap, but it still took up my time, and I was preoccupied. Even now that it's over with, "Keep Hope Alive" is kicking my ass. The traffic number is deceptively low, there are quite a few trouble spots in there. I'll keep at it, but God only knows how long it'll take to Stealth.

I'm right in the middle of a short film project at the moment, unfortunately, so it may be the end of the month, or even the beginning of November, before I get a chance to record anything. Keep an eye out, though, I'll get around to it sooner or later!

Sorry about that, I know not everyone likes them; I prefer them myself, if only for the way they sound when they sync up with the music (not so much here, but I've got other videos that show off the matched up sounds quite well).

In the case of posting this stuff on Youtube, though, I leave the effects in to try and more clearly identify when I hit or miss a block. They go by fast, it can be hard to tell what's happening sometimes.

Pretty much anything by Andy Hunter works beautifully in Audiosurf; Lifelight is especially challenging, and gets almost impossibly difficult toward the end.

As for my diet? Mountain Dew. By the gallon. I haven't slept in a year and a half.

All the Andy Hunter tracks I've played are great for Audiosurf, and his song "Go", as a matter of fact, is the song that convinced me to buy the game.

Good God Almighty...and I'm not even religious. That was just incredible. The song length must have worn on you at the end. I like it, but this seems like a long, tiring track.

You don't know the half of it. Recording this video, like all the rest, took about a gigabyte a minute. I replayed this damn song so many times I had to empty my hard drive of Fraps videos twice, even though I started with over two hundred and fifty gigs free. I've since increased my mouse sensitivity and video recording framerate, which makes things easier.

It also helps that I'm the type to listen to my favorite songs over and over, but frankly I'd be happy if I never heard this one again.

By "keyboard jockey" I just mean somebody who plays Audiosurf with the keyboard; the same way someone who works in an office could be called a "desk jockey".

I now find, however, that using the mouse with the sensitivity all the way up seems to let you move faster than you can with the keyboard, so my original comment may have been off base.
