@nerfcontrol not with the hopper scope. It would be full of bb's. I attached a red dot scope on the siderails of the barrel to get passed that. Otherwise, you are shooting from the hip.

@nerfcontrol Not Really, I Have One Myself, I Have A Red Dot From A Other Gun, So I Move The Red Dot Toward The Top And Load It With A Speed Loader, It Has A Little Hole Where The Pellets Go In Under Where The Original Scope Is Usually At.

@johnmw13 It is possible to remove the hopper, but you would manually have to feed the bb's in a couple at a time into the feeding hole on the top of the rail.

@xXxOwNaGexXxify Nope, there are no iron sights. and the scope carries the bbs, so if you took it off, you would have to manually put the bbs in the slot one at a time.

@HansonConnor R34 is Spring action, i believe. So that means you would have to pull a cocker back every time you shoot, however, you would not have to deal with the battery clip and mandatory hopper scope that this gun has. There are many trade-offs.

Hey Beves, what kind of spray paint do you use? I have used some on airsoft, and when I would spray paint the plastic, and let it dry. After using the gun, the paint seemed to come off due to contact of body oils. So im not sure if thats just me, or i have different paint or something. I got my paint at walmart :P

@hostesszinger I'd recommend buying a flat black spraypaint first, spraying a layer, let it dry, then spray on an extra layer of that same black. Once all of that dries and is no longer sticky, you should be safe to put any other colors you would prefer on the gun. The extra layer of the first layer is important though.

@dj54321kl nope, have not heard of a way unfortunately. There is a similar model to this, same gun, but without a hopper scope and a magazine as opposed to a battery. The disadvantage to that gun though is that it has spring loading, so you have to cock back the trigger at the front of the gun every time you shoot.

I really like this gun, it's good for a sidearm, if u take all of the accesories off of it. It looks awesome though with the compreser and stock and sling though. Overall rating for a primary 6/10 overall for a sidearm 9/10

@sn0man100 no, there is a giant plastic piece in the middle of the scope, and no crosshairs. I've seen a video where you can remove the plastic piece, but haven't tried it. no guarantees.

So I have the tac1 right now and have had it for a while. So I was thinking about getting either the R34 or R71. They are both alright guns. The R34 is a higher FPS and a spring gun. But I do want an electric gun. So I have a question, People are saying that the R71's battery brakes eaisily so I don't want to get it but If the semi works without the battery then I will probably get it. So can you cock this gun and shoot it without the battery? If not I'll get the R34. thanks!

@timothyga01 No, it is a completely electric gun. It is not spring, and there is nothing to "cock back". Unfortunately you cannot use any firing mode on this gun whatsoever without the battery. Good luck with the gun though!
