My father served in "L" co 3rd battalion 7th cav in korea july 1950-april 1951 and was among the first unit to cross the 38th parallel. His first tour with the 7th ended when he was severely wounded in seoul. he went on later to rejoin the 7th in vietnam as a 1st sgt, god bless the troopers in all their valor and heroism, and god bless the fallen..you are never forgotten
