Its a great version. Of course nothing beats the version of the Beatles doing it in 1968. I can remember seeing that on television. People waited with baited breath for the release of each new Beatles song. The hippies felt that there were these secret messages in their songs. There was a feeling that the rock bands and the kids were turned on to what was happening and guys like Johnson and Nixon didn't have a clue.

Some think it is written for Julian Lennon, but others think it is written especially for and adressed John Lennon. Macca has made and is making so many wonderful songs with a great melody. He is a real master. I am a real John Lennon-fan, but when you love John you have to love the other 3 Beatles. They are/were all very, highly talented. Brilliant! Thank you Macca and I wish you a lovely third marriage. You deserve it.
