  • interesting

  • they look too "yellow" to be indian

  • @MalaysianAgent no one ever said they were "indian" they said they lived in india

  • @eNITH24a ---they are indians just like any other indians!!! indians have a great variety of looks!

  • @eNITH24a which makes them indian.

  • @MalaysianAgent ----what the fuck!!! indians don't have a unique look!! there are blonde haired blue eyed indians as well as chinese looking indians in fact the east Asian looking indians make up majority in 8 out of 28 indian states

  • I think its really sad that soo many cultures and languages are dying...

those are usually the minorities, and often education is what is actuelly killing those cultures and languages, as it often teaches them about another language and culture thats not their own.

The sad thing is that the people that is killing their culture and language thinks that they are helping those people and improving their lives...

  • @THISISAVERYCOOLNAME Yeah. I feel you. :'( Lots of human history has been change and destroy. thanks to the demon with the blue eyes back in the past.:'(

  • deny the truth what? half wit who? FUCKING L-O-S-E-R

spoken like a real republican absolute nonsense such a loser

    no offence to republicans

in the language of figures, the biggest stars in the galaxy is trillions of times bigger than his micro penis, fortunately he has a penis but no brain

the fact of the matter is humanity today don't have any idea about the world around them true that Joe! " we still don't understand everything about this world"

  • does klingon count?

  • There's still a lot of places needed to explore.

  • Languages that are only spoken by a few ought to be wiped out.

They are useless. They impair the learning of more important tongues.

  • @Scitech101 really? people who are able to speak rare languages as their first languages are more likely to learn other languages, especially important tongues like English, considering the fact that most native English speakers who never bothered to learn other languages because they are insignificant, have slower rates of learning other languages.

  • wow the chick at 0:09 is cute

  • @TheElfucko um no.

  • @Chani14922 well i think she is and ur not bad either lol

  • @TheElfucko thanks :D

  • Thank you National Geographic for preserving culture and education for generations to come!

  • @Mennismervice youre thanking someone for preserving culture.youre a racist, bigot. why do you act all multi-culti in one video and then act all racist in another?.because youre a hypocritical liar. just like you said you were homeless and lived in the C-squat in nyc.wheres the 55yr old you smoke dope with and have sex with in his landscaping truck-hey he told me,gay love, its grand isnt it

  • I Know the Bible because I have read it. God's Word is Truth. Read it for yourself before you act as His author....

Jesus alone is your salvation. Jesus came in peace. The so called prophet of the muslim faith came with sword...do the math. Ignorance is the lie.

Jesus called out those that can hear him.

  • @jeffgatesnc

    HAIL SATAN

  • The very reason why God came to this world...a world that needs to know Jesus. Man's tradition, lies, developes this type of ignorance. GEO is satan's partner in crime

  • @jeffgatesnc um...

  • @jeffgatesnc Don't start talking that religious crap. Your ass probably doesn't even know how Christianity even spread or how many people had to die because men wanted to force their beliefs on others and use the idle minds of those with weaker will-power to force people as slaves to the belief for power. If you were smart, you'd side against the big name religions and aim more towards the ones that kept the peace by keeping their beliefs THEIR beliefs.

  • @jeffgatesnc What is your problem? Do you honestly believe that this "God" exists? Don't you see that the church spread those stories to explain what we did not understand? Now that we have the ability to look into the past the better we can all understand how we REALLY came to be. Not some deity but through the evolution of everything.

  • @MrKanojo you are as dumb as a donkey......I can't help you, if you can't see God in creation....ask satan when you get to hell about how the world was created...

  • @jeffgatesnc If u dont like it why do u watch it?

  • This Nordstrom model look plastic and psycho. Bad choice.

  • Proof we still don't understand everything about this world

  • @JoeAuriun We didn't need proof before lol.

  • @JoeAuriun That's an ignorant statement. We have exactly the same understanding today as we did before these anthropologists discovered the Koro language & culture. We've gained knowledge by virtue of our understanding; So it must be true that we "understand everything" as given by the discovery, our ability to document it anthropologically, all this research is Evidence we do understand the world. Proof comes in many forms but this video is Evidence actually rebuts what you're asserting.

  • @DOHC2L You seemed to miss my point entirely. Pretty hypocritical calling me ignorant there.

  • @DOHC2L nonsense

  • @DOHC2L even indigenous peoples know more than this loser

  • @phialen Either deny the truth of what I'm saying or go on living as a half-wit. The choice is yours sir.

  • @mattshane

it's not called brown people. They're a traditional people that may not ever be found again. We would spend all the money we could to make sure that they will not perish. tell me - why is a place that makes you waste tons of hard-earned money better then a tribe of indigenous people?

  • who cares about extinct languages? what about all the extinct species? and the species that are on the brink of extinction?

  • @mitsukai89 while animals are important, the preservation of human life and diversity is much more important because if we learn to care about each other, the good treatment would then be extended to the animals...have you ever noticed how people who abuse animals usually abuse children and vice versa?

  • @luvtheLordJesus That's a huge stretch.

  • @luvtheLordJesus

OEN TIME I MY ANIMALS ABUSED MY CHILDREN SO I WALKED DOWN THE STREET AND ATE SOME PAPER AND THEN MY CAT CALLED ME ANIGGER SO I FED HIM CHEERIOS SO FUCK YOU HAIL SATAN

  • @mario11169 your comment that there are no homophones in Spanish was completely incorrect

¡vaya con la yegua baya que saltó la valla y se comió la baya!

    vello y bello

    vasto y basto

    ciento y siento

    banco = bank, bench

palma = tree, palm of the hand

planta = plant, industrial plant, sole (of the foot), floor

  • why did you guys (Nat Geo) quit telling us the time/date the program will air?

i like knowing so when i find a preview i like or really want to see, i add the time/date to my phone calender.

  • How can any one dislike this? I mean, it's not even offensive or boring

  • Wonderful. Do they have an alphabet?

  • Now this is awesome. When isit gonna air in Singapore?

  • ooh! awesome [:

  • We have to save all languages. Did you know most information gain in 1 year is lost. Is not like everyone records all their ideas, conversations or discovery's.

  • Very interesting. But it would be more interesting for the listeners/watchers of this video if the narrator SHUT her mouth so we can listen to this hidden language better.

  • They look japanese/native american and why is india claiming them.

  • @CounterTube nah they look more like mongolians

  • @CounterTube This area would be near tibet where the people look very much like this. Remember Tibet boarders China so these people look like this. And I think that India is claiming them as one of many of the ethnic groups in india. The Koru are Tibeto-Burman. It is not a racial thing.

  • @rosey312 ---not only this area but the entire north east is dominated by mongoloid people!! they make up majority in 8 out of 28 indian states

  • @CounterTube ----indians don't have a perticular look! an indian can look chinese as well as european

  • after 10 beers i can speak that language

  • cool

  • they look like Austronesian

  • @modsJUTSU AHAHHAH !

  • @famzoo2417 ?????

  • @modsJUTSU the fact that they have found a hidden language! haha [:

  • shxt, I'm watching this right now on tv.

  • they are beautiful people

  • Siht si a neddih egaugnal. - anyone know this hidden language?

  • @dclipe this is a hidden language

  • @dclipe

you said "this is a hidden language" -- should we go pig latin too? lol.

  • @kw271 lol

  • @dclipe this is a hidden language lolz

  • @ShreyanHota lol right on. believe or not, a lot of people didn't get it.

  • @ifishbetterthanyou theey sound "normal" to me not "exotic" exotic is a label that fetishize other ethnicities or languages , only bigauds (sp) use it.

  • lol these people are definitely not indians descendants. I wonder when India claimed the territory

  • @spike378 india doesnt claim territory, china claims indian territory and we just give it to them...

  • @spike378 ---may i know who is an indian???east asian looking people make up majority in 8 out of 28 indian states.....also in noth indian states like kashmir it is common for people to have blue eyes and blonde hair!

  • They sound so Japanese!

  • @opheliakuroda this doesn't sound very japanese, actually... because i'm japanese, haha. jap flows more smoothly. but this language sounds cool!

  • @falalaxfearless when i said they sound japanese i meant the sounds- yeah i'm half jap (although i can't speak fluently) it sounds kinda similar to me xP

  • @opheliakuroda Yeah, I was going to say it sounded strangely like Japanese too. :)

  • @5LoZeRzPrO if u are falling for his retardedness then u are just as retarded.ignore him,i think his comments are funny to me.cause neither of it's true

  • @mattshane fucking lol

  • @RyanKHS06 English will go extinct when the word economy collapses because we run out of oil in 50 years max. Also, global warming will wipe out most of the cities since

they are costal. Most 'advanced' nations won't be able to handle the mass disruption. To cause this disaster to happen, vote republican in the next election!

  • @farvision english is only "pure" at 60% it is diluted

  • that was a very awesome and interesting video!

  • finally a cool vid from NG that i can actually watch

    instead of being blocked

  • Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @mattshane dude ur a loser but what ever……. ur wasting my time stop getting in little youtube fights and grow up

  • They're Tibeto-Burmese speaking people. =)

  • @ArmadylGodSwordsmen Dude, shut up, seriously.

  • Tibeto-Burman language. It's part of a group of languages. Fascinating that we can still find something "new" in these days!

  • @ArmadylGodSwordsmen Oh shut up and get back to making runescape videos you twat.

  • beautiful India

  • Try to Google translate that crap lol good fight.

  • wonder how they say

    mcdonnalds

  • @chena3 They don't say "mcdonnalds" they say "Mc Donalds"

  • awosme

  • If only there was a simultaneous way to preserve these rare languages and also use only one that unifies everybody in the world. A predicament, I must work out.

  • @Deadlytrick yeah, it's a utopic dream for unity.. it will never happen though

  • @Deadlytrick English has already raped too many languages.

  • @onimotoko i agree; especially when american (U.S.A.) english is concerned (spanish as well). the americas is where languages (and proper speech in general) comes to die, lol!

  • @avastacia Agree. I live in America, and it's a shame how much people don't care about preserving the language. We just don't have enough pride in it, like the French with their own language. It makes me sad.

  • @avastacia

well thats because american english is so simple to learn and use people tend to adapt to it more easily.

  • @UDavidT american language isnt easy to learn i heard that japanese people can learn spanish better then american

  • @UDavidT English is one of the hardest languages to learn if it isn't your first language... I mean I'm learning Spanish and it's easier than some of the English I'm STILL learning..

  • @mario11168 nope english is fairly easy to learn. If you already speak spanish, italian, german or scandinavian languages you will be able to speak english in months. english has a 40% of greco-roman influence.its not out of grasp.one of the most complex european languages is Magyar.that's a known fact

  • @cannoir I'm sorry, is English your first language?

The fact that a single English word can mean five different things (their, there, they're, were, we're, where, here, hear, etc, etc, etc). makes English harder than a TON of languages out there, if it isn't your first language. For Spanish, one word means one thing, not any more, same with Japanese and tons of other languages out there.

    That's a known fact.

  • @mario11168 "their, there, they're" sound the same, does not mean that they are the same words. They each have different meanings. Same thing applies to "here, hear, etc." Languages like Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, etc. have words that can mean more than one thing or have different implied meanings. Actually, ALL languages are like that. In my opinion, English's grammar is what makes the language hard....not the meaning of words.

  • @damasareyasui Dont forget Two, too and to

  • whore-O?

  • fucking leave this people alone!

  • @dyingangelo That's what I'm saying. Just leave them alone and let them live. They look happy.

  • who cares??

  • being a linguist must not be exciting... like this is probably the most exciting thing that has ever happened to these linguists... i find that to be pretty sad lol

  • wow they look like native/asian/Indian.

  • great :)

  • Woww, amazingg. Good job!!!

  • awesome.

  • So, we've finally found out the language of the Na'vi...

  • wow they look Mongolian

  • @queenfee When I visited India,I noticed the people in North-Eastern India looked more Chinese (with somewhat darker complexionS like "Indians") and North-Western India looked more Middle Eastern/European (with occasional kids born with blue eyes, etc.) People in Southern India look a lot darker than the rest of India.

  • well india does have tons of languages

  • @laoshu505000 should check this out! Very cool.

  • @Ryguy1450 you arent wrong...

  • @Ryguy1450 wrong person

  • they look chinese but its a tibetan dialect cool.

  • niceeee

  • More effort needs to be put forth to ensure technology enhances rather than destroys the great diversity. It is easy to sweep aside the unknown, or take our shallow knowledge of something to justify its unimportance. I have much respect for the work being done by these researchers.

  • And here I thought it would be more beneficial and unifying to allow a language to go extinct.

  • Pause at 2:15. Is that I ♥ U?

  • I used to intern at a tibetan museum and she sounds Tibetan, I could be wrong but did the migrate form tibet.....sorry I'm kinda slow

  • @Fupper16 No, It meant i'm about to flip your mom into the doggy style. LOL!

  • cool different languages

  • second but first actual good comment i think this video is wonderful and cool
