As an NYU student I can say that this video is totally accurate. It's an amazing school with diverse, intelligent, and creative people. And the parties are awesome as pictured. It may not be known for it's partying like PSU or WVU - but let's be real here it's college, and it's in New York City. If you think there's nothing to do, you just aren't looking.

Don't get me wrong, that video is pretty stupid, and grossly inaccurate in its own right, but as an NYU greek I can honestly say that we do throw some sick parties from time to time. And other undergrads do attend them, they just don't realize they're greek parties because we adopt pseudonyms while promoting to avoid university backlash.
