Don't critize to harshly he put his own spin on it! I peronally like it when people put their own interpretation into the song. Good job dude! I would suggest working on the higher notes in the chorus esspecially because it's what people hear the most in a song. Check out my version it's more close to the original. i agree completley with baultarts, but you cud improve it easily, soften your voice when singing it, and relax yourself understand that your not really singing a rock song more a ballad, n the height of the notes arn't quite there which i think is essential for this song. really push youreself this isn't the easiest song to sing. ok, your voice doesn't sound like shit. you have a nice voice but you do need to work on your voice so that your singing will sound stronger and better. you should look up singing techniques; because i can hear your voice and it could sound really great if you'd work on it.
you can hardly say he done it his own way when everything else is a straight copy apart from two extra strums ,,soz for bein negative but you may as well sing it like chris cuz he wrote and it aint yours to kill,,,fair enough if you played it different then sing it different but that isnt the case here tho ,,still ,well done mate good tune and i enjoyed it
