oh, and by the way... the reason that these small sizes exist is because clothes are regularly being cut larger to compensate for the increasing weight of the average person. It is called "vanity sizing" and it appeals to women's vanity for them to be able to fit into a size 8 when they would normally be a 10 or 12.
If you look it up you'll see a size 0 today is actually equivalent to a size 6 in the 1950's.
So it isn't really a "new size", it's been there all along, just under a different label

Sadly, if this video had been made in the US, I bet most people's opinion would have been different (and needless to say, stupid...and yes, I am from America so I'm not "hating"). But now a days, after being to the beach with all my friends a couple of times, I am grateful for my curves. WRONG!! I don't know what size 0 looks like where you're from but Size 0 in Northeastern US is not THAT small. That size fits me great and I'm a 33-24-33, thin? yes, but far from the body of a 7 year old. Size 0 is the lowest size on the market, only 2 stores in the uk 'highstreet' cater for it, its painfully tiny, you cant really say its not 'THAT' small can you? its a size which has only came into existance because of the fashion industries and their models - not because of the population of women and selling clothes. Uk have smaller sizes anyway, a US 0/UK 4 is 30-23-32. Kate Moss has a 26'' waist and shes suppost to be deathly thin

Well, obviously the Size 0 in your part of the world is smaller than what I see in stores and would definitely be tight on me.. that is equal more to a size 00 (which a lot of stores do carry now)
and yes, that can be "painfully skinny" for someone who was not mean to be that size, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist naturally.

oh, and by the way... the reason that these small sizes exist is because clothes are regularly being cut larger to compensate for the increasing weight of the average person. It is called "vanity sizing" and it appeals to women's vanity for them to be able to fit into a size 8 when they would normally be a 10 or 12.
If you look it up you'll see a size 0 today is actually equivalent to a size 6 in the 1950's.
So it isn't really a "new size", it's been there all along, just under a different label

Yeah i have heard of that, Marilyn Monroe was a size 14 but today she'd of been a 10 or a 12. Also everyone generally finds they can be size bigger or smaller in certain stores. Quiet frustrating in that you ever know you're actual size unless you get measures properly. That's quiet a good point u made there, though what comes after 00 i wonder?

haha that's a good question.. well if vanity sizing keeps going at the rate it is, some people think that negative sizes will soon follow. I can't imagine going into a store and asking the sales person "Do you have this in a negative 2?"
Believe it or not I have actually seen a size 000, though it's very uncommon.
If you ask me, there should be a complete overhaul with clothing sizes. No more vanity sizing, just start the smallest size as Size 1, and go up from there.. makes sense to me.

Sadly, if this video had been made in the US, I bet most people's opinion would have been different (and needless to say, stupid...and yes, I am from America so I'm not "hating"). Growing up, my younger sister was a size 0 and I was a size 16/18, and I'm the one that always ended up in long term relationships with someone who appreciates me for who I am. So I don't think size matters unless you're just trying to get the attention of someone who's attention isn't worth getting.

I was feeling really down today about my size. I live in the US and most of the men I have been with have shown more attraction towards thinner size 2 women. I wear a size 12-14. Most people think I weigh 130lbs, but I am much heavier than that. I don't mind as long as I keep looking fit, I just wish the men I were with would get a clue.
