I think that the Elite Premium members getting the dlc sooner is exactly what should happen thats one of the whole perks to getting elite premium rather than paying the 15-20$ 3 times to get all the map packs you pay 58$ to get elite premium which gets you all of the maps plus extra additional perks especially if you signed up in time to get "founder" status its perfectly fair

@xoAIDSxo you're wrong on both your comments. elite premium for dlc wasn't mentioned until COD XP which was September. They also didn't make it seem like others would have to wait months before getting a map pack if they wanted to pay for it.

Also, PS3 gets it last because Microsoft and Activision made a deal for the DLC through 2012. Your statement about more serious gamers is laughable at best.

As a ps3 user that got the hardened edition gifted to me.. I have found Elite almost useless.. Who would pay for it? It said we get free DLC every month - which is SWEET. But ps3 users do not get it for a considerable amount after Xbox, so we are losing time that we paid for to get dlc every month, while Xbox gets more dlc for quite a good amount of time longer :/ Not cool in my opinion. Paying for elite should have evened the systems out.

Usually for COD the first map packs don't come out until late February or March. Elite is for those who want pieces of them EARLIER. It's not like Elite is the regular release time and non-Elite is later. And I think it was extremely clear since like September that Elite members would get downloadable content early so for those who didn't know this, well, that's your fault.

Totally agree about the 2 maps thing getting boring really quick. I also had no idea you couldnt get them at all if you weren't an elite member. I think that's pretty bullshit.

I think, like you said, that it would be a lot better for them to release 5 maps at once instead of 2 now 3 later or whatever, it might sound perfect for you to get maps before anyone else but you have to wait until everyone on XBL has them or else you barely ever play them
