  • (+19) means cents or hertz? Also, in pianoencyclopedia this scale is marked as an hexatonic scale. Why is that? Is it an error? Or does it have something to do with modal music that we have ignored?

Anyways, thanks for the (+19) thing, Ive seen many old jewish "tunings" that dont offer information, well, of the tuning (pythagoras, tempered, etc), just the notes the scale has.

  • @omgtkseth I believe it would be Hertz, what ever the designation is on my tuner. Yes it is a hexatonic, as there are 6 tones counted from C to C.

  • Bravo, Bravo!

  • Sweet. Did he mention this in one of his books?

  • He does mention the Olympus pentatonic scale in Genesis of a Music, p. 177 in the second edition.

  • That's really astounding! Keep it up!

  • Man I gotta say I'm always hesitant to click on covers, but this was EXCELLENT.

  • Ack i read the "more info" and this is not a cover, just a scale partch discovered. My bad.

  • so good, im gonna go try

  • 5 stars!

  • Man I love all your tunes! I love how you play in all these styles from different cultures. Where do you learn about that stuff?
