"It looks as though you are stuck down here" XD I love the GM's, I would really think it would be fun being one. They are to be professional but it sounds like they are just being smart asses sometimes. Thumbs up for the very observant GM.
@OsamaBinLooney that happened when ACP first came out, and had to go to the tower before the big level 30 climb. i would d/c before i get to the cs, but i was stuck between zones, took 3 days to log in.
@PeachyCornBeef ya, basically. It wouldn't log me in to lower defuts tower for the cs and itwouldn't load me me outside in qufim. So at that point i was stuck between zones. 3 hours on the phone with SE to be told that i have to call my internet subscriber and have them open ports or something... so they were no help. I logged onto my xbox and it let me through finally :/
Had it happened before! Brought the entire LS over to laugh at me... some /sh that I was a zoo display (me being a mithra). My GM response was "Do you have rope? I'v fallen and can't get up." The GM responds "Do you still need rop?" He got me up and fooled around with my LS in Kazham (put them on top of buildings). We became friends after that... no I didn't get any free gil.
Yeah, I use to fall under that board every time I went to Kazham -- sometimes twice. I was told by a GM it was lag on our end compared to the server, or something like that, which caused you to fall through the board.
That happened to a friend of mine back in the day...he called a GM but someone managed to D2 him out of there or something before the GM showed up...funny stuff, wish I coulda been there to make fun of him lol ^^
how do u do that thats some funny shit i tryed to do it but it didnt work but i almost got stuck in a tree in Davoi it glitched and i walked in the tree and almost couldnt get out of it lol
This happened to me too! I actually ran INTO the water and was able to run around down there too--saw fishies^^ (seriously!) lol, I found it funny my character didn't drown or something XD
I remember I was in Kazham, getting ready to level something there I think, and I saw this person under the area like you did. Fortunately, my BLM was level 40+ so I invited them to my PT. His HP was in Kazham so I decided to use Warp II on them to get them back up. After I warped him, I checked the HP there and sure enough, he was back. He thanked me. :)

one time i had to call a GM cus i got trapped waitching a cutsecene
i would keep disconnecting during a cutscene and then the scene would restart when i logged back in and then i would DC half way through again
and again, and again, and well you get the idea
GM couldnt help though just said do file check which didnt help
i just kept trying and eventually i made it through the scene!

Can't tell you how many times kazham did that to my characters... I usually got a BLM to warp me out of there :p but a GM saved me before :D
My computer isn't laggy enough now to do that XD
