Oh I love that song. One of the great things about this band is that they vary their style - ballads like "War", soft, calm stuff like "Sleep" and rockier stuff like this. It's what keeps them interesting; I hope they'll keep trying out new stuff!

I agree with you. Udeer a big label one could get promoted, get advertzed, and get records to be sold everywhere, but probably also someone to say what the band's fans want. Some may benefit from it (for ex. it's hard to imagine what say Britney would produce without someone making the decisions for her) but it probably kills the imagination of some other performers. Then again, there are lots of artists (previouslty under a big label) that have gone solo, but no-one takes them seriously.

I thought I will never see this day but... Here is a POTF track which sucks.

Marko tries at times to sound harder/more evil, and thats why vocals sound like crap. The rest parts of the track dont fit in with the evil stuff at all. No more harder stuff, thank you.

After all, if the tunes keep getting this hard, POTF will be as boring finnish band as everybody else. I've had enough of those bands already. With POTF's own "unique" style, they stand out of the crowd. Wish it would stay like that.

Again, I have to disagree with you. I like both sides of Poets of the Fall because most of what I listen to is metal, so their lighter side is my break from metal, but their harsher sound is also pleasing to my ears because I'm used to much harsher. Yes, it is different from Poets of the Fall's norm.

I am aware that there are other Finnish bands that play their genres better, most of the bands I listen to are Finnish. Poets of the Fall tried something new for them, it's not a big deal.
