  • those chest compressions are way too fast.

  • hey go4broek i gotta question,.. i got my state emt practicals in less than a week for my emt-b and shortly there after im gonna apply for state trooper. do you know much about being a tactical medic for law enforcment? my long term goal is to be a tatical medic for the police and im just curious if you have any tips' thanks!

  • As an Instructor I can say that it depends on your instructor and WHERE you are testing as differant areas preform the nation registry their way.... Our sheets do not say to stop and check for pulse either, But I think it would be a good idea...Don't you?? You are the pro in this case, be sure that a by-stander is not doing CPR on someone breathing and has a pulse. Thanks

  • If they have a pulse and are breathing they aren't going to allow you to do CPR. CPR hurts its obvious if they are not stopping you that you should probably just continue with the CPR.

  • in the beginning he directs the person doing cpr to stop so he can check a pulse. on my skills sheet is doesnt say anything about doing that. is it standard to check pulse before applying the aed?

  • Lots of viewers but no comments. Please comment on what some of you have issues with so we can find the solution. Thanks!
