  • Every 7 minutes someone is bullied? Every 6 seconds a kid starves to death and that's just kids and that's just because of starvation alone. Tell those kids who are on the brink of starvation that you have it so bad people make fun of you through YOUR what $600 computer and see what they have to say.

  • I almost cry OMG :(

  • Pfft, Cyber bullies make me laugh, i dont see why kids seem to get so hurt over them...

And i also dont see why some kids kill themselves over bullies when there are so many better solutions.

Suicide a permenant solution to a temporary problem.

  • @PixelPigProductions I can NOT believe you just said that. It's, in fact, happened to me before. You don't know how it feels. I wouldn't ever kill my self, but I could see how some kids feel the need to (even though you're right that it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem). When you're bullied, you have nowhere else to go, it just keeps happening, and soon enough it's all you're thinking about. It's hard to forget that you're hated. Next time, don't be so ignorant.

  • @iFilmmak3r I apologize if i offended you, i will admit, i have never been persistently bullied. but the few times i have been bullied it never left much of a mark...

I guess i don't fully understand how some people react to such things.

But i have never reacted in such ways, i suppose it does depend on the type of harrassment.

But i still think suicide is a bit extreme in every case.

  • wow just the little things in this world like a push or a shove of ur books can hurt just as bad. : (( hate Bullies!!!

  • when tht girl got pushed i laughed cuz if she did that tome i think i would have broke her nose

  • When the one girl randomly got pushed I laughed...

  • Minutes? It says seconds in the title.

  • The Cyber Bullier Is Just To Scared To Say It To Say It To Your Face So They Use The Internet To Repeatly Hurt Someone....

Soo Cyber Bullies Are Just Cowards To Me..

  • @LexiiBieberr no

    that is a misconception

  • people who talk on the internet, there is a offline button. i use it. and for people who have been cyber bullied or bullied, just know they are jealous of you. so never EVER listen to bullys. anyone agree?

  • Cyberbullying is ilegal and you can go to jail, how do I know? Im cyberbullied over text message and in person and it's not easy. I've thought about suicide thinking it's my only way out.

  • @101Smileygirl101 you're never alone <3

  • only reason behind all that shit is governement wanna put have power and censure over the net, it's only a matter of divide and conquer the same way racism and any kind of discrimination is used. don't fall into it, fight internet 2 and do everything you can to get those people out of our bisness. The last place we're still a little free is cyberspace, think about it

  • lol

  • I'm confused if your talking to someone and they start insulting you why wouldn't you just click the close button? really people in these things are idiots

  • its called every 7 seconds but it says every 7 minutes :/

  • If you're getting bullied online, delete your facebook account. I just don't see how someone knocking your books out of your hand or racing to get through the door before you is bullying.

  • @MrsCrazyForSmarties, Just because a 55 second film which (apparently) fails to convince you this is a serious problem doesn't mean it *isn't* a serious problem. 55 seconds isn't very long to show how cyber bullying can build up and spread until it consumes the victim's life. The process is typically a long, and *insidious*, one i.e. one that is done subtly so that it's difficult to get people to take it seriously (as you, among others here, demonstrate).

  • @KeldorDAntrell

Yeah, I agree that it IS hard to get the *serious* point across about bullying in just 50-whatever seconds, but if they could've made it longer. I'm not saying bullying isn't serious, becauseI know damn well it is. What I'm saying is that from what THIS video conveys, I'm just not convinced.

  • @MrsCrazyForSmarties, Well if you think the issue is serious you shouldn't have just said, "If you're getting bullied online, delete your facebook account. I just don't see how someone knocking your books out of your hand or racing to get through the door before you is bullying."

That's a FLIPPANT response implying that it's dead easy to solve the problem - delete your FB account. If you meant to criticise the video, you would have done it. You didn't. You didn't say a word against the film.

  • @KeldorDAntrell How comes there are loads of other comments about bullying, yet I'm the ONLY one you reply to? Ha, it's a waste of my time, getting into arguments with people I don't even know on the internet. Cya.

  • @MrsCrazyForSmarties, I replied to your comment because it stuck out as STUPID and DISSMISSIVE OF THE PROBLEM. Only an idiot would try to pass this off as not a serious issue - they don't make public information films about nothing, dummy. Then you claimed to have been having a go at the *video* - despite that you said NOT ONE WORD against it. Now you're running because you lack the strength of character to admit when you're wrong. Mrs Crazy says it all.

  • @KeldorDAntrell I'm hardly running. IF I saw your comment and immediately thought to myself 'OH GOD', THAT would be running, which I didn't do. I said 'Cya' because I'm not prepared to waste my life arguing with pathetic 'dummies'. I'm allowed to have my opinion. You're allowed to have yours. I'm hardly telling you what to think, am I? And my first comment was refering to the video, actually. Sorry if that didn't come across as clear to you. I just despise people who start arguments over the net

  • @MrsCrazyForSmarties,You *are* running. Anyone can see you didn't say a word against the video so your claim that your comment was against *it* is FALSE (no matter what you intended). Sure you can have your opinion but that's not what you're arguing about. Go take another look, accept that your communication was poor (if you aren’t simply lying), & have the guts to admit when you're wrong.

  • @KeldorDAntrell No, because this is my opinion and I will not apologise for what I think.

  • Who the hell cries when some random person on the internet calls them uncool? Holy shit. Why can't we just go back to the days when people weren't so damn sheltered and they would just break the fucker's nose and never be bothered again?

  • Im not standing up for bullying but the people who kill them selves are just whimps~ THEY HAVE SO MANY OPTIONS LIKE~ 1. Homeschool 2. Move 3. Block button (cyber bullying) 4. change your number 5. change your name 6. change your look~ THEY HAVE SO MANY OPTIONS!!! >.< stupids

  • @pmbkitty123 Yes, because all of those options are always completely appropriate. My parents schedules don't allow homeschooling, we're not going to move, there's no block button in real life, I won't change anything about myself to avoid someone I would rather fight, and the simplest solution is JUST to fight. If you break their nose once, they won't bother you again. People learn more from pain than from lectures.

  • @851852093114208513 Well sometimes those are appropriate if its a last option,

  • Comment removed

  • @851852093114208513, And what if you fight & you get stabbed to death? What if this occurs to you so you take a knife yourself, and *you* stab someone to death and end up with a life-long criminal record & (at least) a manslaughter conviction, and a serious stretch in prison? Lives can be ruined in a few seconds of madness all initiated by 'harmless' cyber bullying.

You make a very stupid argument: use violence to (attempt to) solve an anti-social - but non-violent - problem.

  • @KeldorDAntrell If you attack someone with a knife, you should go to prison, regardless. Frankly, if a bully was fucking with some kid and the kid pulled a knife, the bully would back off. But knives aren't allowed in school, because shit like that would happen all the time. I guess, what I ignored more than anything, and that I should have addressed, is that if you would kill yourself because someone called you a fag on the internet, you deserve to die.

  • @851852093114208513, God, you're stupid! Your reply doesn't answer my question! Whether 'x' goes to prison is BESIDE THE POINT. One or other of you (or even both) WOULD BE DEAD OR SERIOUSLY INJURED i.e. your ‘advice’ is stupid. Then, what about all those who aren’t able to fight? No doubt such "wimps" also "deserve to die".

"Knives aren't allowed in school" - what a cretin you are. 1. They get in anyway. 2. Who says this has to happen in school?

  • @851852093114208513, Also, "shit like that" DOES happen all the time in some places. American schools have the kids walk through metal detectors because carrying knives has become such a problem. Violence on the street is routine for many young people, as is gang culture from which bullies often emerge. A victim pulls a knife & the bully is *guaranteed* to back off? Maybe that's what YOU would do but not all would; & bullies often work in PACKS.

You're an (evil) ignoramus without a clue.

  • @KeldorDAntrell Yeah. It does. I said that they aren't allowed, not that nobody has any. Gang culture means fuck all in the real world, and if someone pulls a knife, and you don't back off and end up getting stabbed along with your friends, IT'S YOUR OWN FUCKING FAULT. Evil? Oh, wow, that hurts. If I was as weak as you seem to think most high-school age kids were, I'd probably kill myself for that... But I won't, because I'm not an idiot and I can think for myself.

  • @851852093114208513, Gang culture means "fuck all" in the real world? It *is* (a part of) the real world, stupid!

Then you argue that if someone knifes you, it's *your* fault because you didn't back off!? I can hear the defendant now: "I stuck 'im with me blade because he didn't back off, see? He was asking for it, your honour!" And the judge, of course, would let the chappy off because those who get stabbed only have themselves to blame! YOU ARE AN IMBECILE!

  • @851852093114208513, Of course calling you 'evil' doesn't hurt you. I'd no more expect it to than if I called a good person 'good'. You know full well what you are. Only an evil bastard would argue that people deserve to get stabbed if they don't back down.

You claim that you're not an idiot & can think for yourself'. The mark of an idiot is not an inability to think for themselves but of not thinking *rationally*; & that's YOU, dumbbell. Who but an idiot would say what you've said?

  • @KeldorDAntrell Hmm... Yeah, say a person is walking through the desert. The person hears a rattle. It seems that they have stumbled upon a rattlesnake, which is clearly agitated. However, instead of slowly backing away and leaving, they lean in to pet the snake. They get bitten.

It's the same situation, really. Good and evil are imaginary and relative.

  • @851852093114208513, Rubbish. The rattle snake knows no better and feels it is defending itself. A human should know better and abide by the law. Also, the snake wouldn't be attacking one of its own species. Regardless, although the person who investigates the rattler would be foolish, it’d be an idiot (and a nasty one) who'd say he 'deserved' to get bitten. So it's NOT the same situation. It's nothing like the same & only a cretin would think it was.

  • @851852093114208513, Also, don't try to pass yourself off as a philosopher to me, dimwit. You have no idea who you're talking to. Good and evil are real despite being abstract. Then, *of course*, they're relative! What kind of a dumbass point are you trying to make saying that? One is relative to the other as 'hot' is relative to 'cold', or 'up' to 'down'.

Relative to goodness, your comment marks you out as evil. The rest marks you out as an imbecile.

    Now you've trolled this thread.

  • @KeldorDAntrell Have you noticed that I have not once insulted you? That I have intelligently argued all of my points without once resorting to personal attacks against your character? Hmm. Good and Evil are not real. Nothing is good or bad until society says that it is good or bad. That's why some societies do things that other societies find repulsive. It changes everywhere, and the concepts are thus much to vague to apply. For instance, I'm a saint when compared to, say, Joseph Stalin.

  • @851852093114208513, Intelligently argued all my points? You said a man investigating a rattlesnake & getting bitten was the same as a man standing up against someone who pulls a knife on him and gets stabbed. I explained to you why this was STUPID, completely not the same thing. Perhaps you think humans are snakes because YOU'RE a snake.

Your notions of philosophy are also cretinous. Good & evil are determined by individuals not societies, troll.

I'm insulting you because you deserve it.

  • @KeldorDAntrell I don't see how being real makes them relative. I mean, they are relative because perceptions of each differ depending on the perspective from which you view them, but them both being real wouldn't mean anything like that. That's like saying chocolate is relative to vanilla. Your ends are correct, but your means are bass-akwards. I wonder what you mean by, "You have no idea who you're talking to." I mean, first of all, know fucking shit. The same could be said of you.

  • Comment removed

  • @851852093114208513, "That's like saying chocolate is relative to vanilla" - RAFL! You think 'up' being relative to 'down', and 'evil' being relative to 'good', and 'hot' being relative to 'cold' is the same as 'chocolate' being relative to 'vanilla'? What a TOWERING MORON you are!

What I mean by, "You have no idea who you're talking to", idiot, is that I've studied philosophy (and continue to) while you’re clearly a moron.

BTW, it's *No* fucking shit, thicky. I rest my case!

I wonder what you mean by, "You have no idea who you're talking to." I mean, first of all; no fucking shit. The same could be said of you.

  • @pmbkitty123, YOU are the stupid one. The options you've suggested are MONUMENTALLY INANE. They're also life changing, MAJOR inconveniences AND they amount to allowing the bullies to win.

'Change your look'? How would that solve anything? You think the bullies won't recognise their victim? What do you think the victim is, a master of disguise?! 'Move'? Oh yes, leave all your friends & relatives behind & relocate - THE most stressful thing people often choose to do in life! IDIOT.

  • @pmbkitty123, You also demonstrate a complete lack of sympathy for people YOU think yourself fit to label 'whimps'. Aren't these 'whimps' actually the highly sensitive types who create all the great art and beauty in the world for people to enjoy - even the heartless, selfish ones like you? What right do you have to insult people for lacking the thick skin that certain others have? You didn't *earn* your thick skin or choose it for yourself. You got it by LUCK of birth. You're nasty.

  • I don't think it's cyberbullying as much as it is just bullying itself. People are killing themselves because of this. I mean I haven't really been affected by cyberbullying but actualy bullying has affected. Do you know how much it hurts and how annoying it is when you just can't get that rude jealous drenched comment out of your mind?

  • I wasnt bullied online i was bullied by my BEST friend or should i say EX best friend she want to visit family and her cousin was telling her to text me all this mean hurtful rude stuff and call me all these names he told her to text me this stuff and she did shes not my best friend any more i doubt she even was my friend in the first place she was probley lieing. i dont know who i hate more her for texting me it or him for saying it. but i mean i guess its true i dont know :(

  • @peace4ever5 Good to know.

  • @Everyonewhowatchedthisvideo,

    Your fat

    Ugly

    Ull never been cool

    Taht is

    That*

    Fag

  • @TehModdahnewb that isnt funny...

  • I thought it was suppose to b every 7 seconds?

  • someone is mean to me i would not be responsible for the injuries

  • ull nevar be cool

    *crying face*

  • @DBxSnowman "as cool as me that is"

    Suddenly everything felt better

  • only effects poeple with low self-asteam

  • @artist1234567 valid point and its esteem just thought i'd tell you

  • i never do that but i get that

  • i get bullied

  • Ok. So here's the solution to bullying...learn a martial art and get proficient at it. Then, and here's the shocker, STAND UP FOR YOURSELF AND KNOCK THE EVER LIVING SHIT OUT OF THE BULLY! For crying out loud, it's not rocket science.

  • @mjt1517 you really are retarded arent you. i'm 4"10 and my friend is 6"2 say he starts picking on me i'm supposed to fight back? he knows martial arts too. so answer that one.

  • @ilikepie544 You put yourself in that position and *I'M* the retarded one? If you have an ape for a boyfriend and you're a gnome, buy yourself some technology to even the playing field. Or find a bigger ape to smash your boy toy.

  • everyone says bullies are cowards, its not true their brave because their strong

  • @jacktomryan17 So...why do the strong need to provoke those weaker than themselves? How is that strength or bravery? That's chicken hearted if anything. If they were brave, they would try to bully people bigger, faster, and stronger than they are. Yep. Bullies ARE cowards because they target the weak.

  • @mjt1517 yeah thats true, i mean bullies are guttless. but ive seen some bullies that are not afraid of nothing. i wasnt trying to promote bullying at all. sorry if i offended anyone. what you said is correct.

  • WHAT!

    BULLSHIT!

"Even in the most safest of places."

    XD

your insane the internet isn't safe.

  • Cowards comeout from hideing Noob and let me shoe what uncool really means

  • 0:05 - 0:11

"THERE. NOW NEITHER OF US CAN READ."

  • Sounds like 43% of the youth population needs to learn how to stop being little bitches. Who gives a shit if some kid at school says you're ugly? Oh no, other people are jerks sometimes! Get used to it, because it's gonna be like that pretty much until you are dead.

  • @bonereater if its like that until you're dead then your life is fucked up

  • @jtpruzz not really its life, if your everyone was all sweet "oh no your not faT ITs okayyy" then the world would be fucked. people need to be mean to balance out the nice people. lol

  • safest of places?!...ahahaha!!!...The internet is NOT one of the safest of places..and most of the time..kids are afraid to report actual bullies because bullying isn't such a major offense that gets the bullies to change somehow..did you think that after you told your teacher they'll stop?..more like secretly make it worse..

  • @yachiru0peanut i think they meant at home. but i agree.

  • if 43% of teens reported cyberbulling, how come 43% of teens dont report real life bit fat broken bloody noses? haveing backbone send bullys running for the hills.

  • @funder1der There are bullies tht threaten to kill you if you say anything . that might be why

  • It says every 7 minutes, not seconds.

  • im a cyberstalker. gimmi yo information.

  • LOL.

  • The numbers don't add up!

  • 0:14 some bitch does that to me i would go mental lol :D

  • i thought was funny a fuck,,, it looks like shes on a random chatroom, then there like your ugly, you'll never be cool, i was like rolf

  • Bullying owns. It's like killing someone without killing them cause you're not killing them, they take suicide. Cause their parents didn't teach them to ignore bullies and how to deal with them.

It's just words, you homosexual peice'a'shit jew.

  • i got cyberbullied not too long ago.

  • I don't understand why people get so upset over cyberbullying. Block buttons were made for that very reason.

  • @Aniland It's horrible to do. Once you've read something, you can't un-read it. If your not being bullied in real life but you are online, your an idiot who's being trolled. But if you're being bullied in real life and online, than there's a problem.

  • @Aniland LOL SUP VIDO, IT'S UR CYBERBULLY,

    UR A LUSR.

    -cratnip

  • @beezaxe :'(

  • @Aniland But some people are not so smart and trust strangers

  • @Aniland the thing is, it can fallow you in school, too or where ever, too. It's not always just limited to the web.

  • @Aniland people could make new accounts and stuff they well if they know you they can tease u at school and ruin for u there too

  • @X00BLACKROSE00X As somebody who is technically a "victim" of this act, I'm not really bothered by it. To equate it to real-life, in-person bullying is just too big a stretch.

  • @Aniland I know what you mean but still........it could happen nothing is impossible...

  • @Aniland That's where Trolling was born....

  • @Aniland Well. First, because once a single person begins tu bully you, then there are other people coming. And people can have your email adress, your phone number and other informations brought by other people who didn't know what they were doing... it's more dangerous that what anyone could imagine, and some people kill themselves 'cause of this...

  • @Aniland And trolling was also invented

  • @Aniland No.Once you see them in the first place (the cyberbullying messages), you can never erase them from your mind.

  • @Aniland Hehe funny what you say. you obviously never got bullied.

  • @MexicanChamp1000 I actually did, from 4th grade to 7th grade constantly.

  • @Aniland and I have too from 3rd grade-

    Constantly

  • hey! just want to say i was bullied for five years straight and it's reassuring to know that now there are people like you making people aware of bullying and potentially preventing it!

    Thank you xxx!

  • is it because your a jew?

  • it's sad you consider that a response that would insult me!

  • it's not insulting you. it's a question, people these days make fun of jews alot.

  • well did u goi to that place where ppl try and kill themselves and then go to some gay place ?

  • aaaw that was sad

    i wood never do that

NOBODY will do that to me either

  • @fight4deedy Shut up you fat cow.
