If there is one word to describe Feeder, I would use contemplative. Their life-affirming lyrics always makes me reflect on things that are of importance. In this song - keeping hold of the past and allowing your dreams to carry you away in exaltation and hope, for this is the only way to sustain ourselves in when feeling adrift.

Feeder were bloody brilliant at Leeds this year. Everyone got involved! Everyone around me was singing out throughout the entire set. It was the most involved crowd for a band i'd been part of that whole weekend. Loved every minute!

In my opinion Metallica are not artists, theyre a cleverly developed business plan out there to plunder people's perception of real music and politely rob people of their money through ridiculously expensive merchandise, dvds and gig tickets. I have never heard an album as rubbish as St Anger in my life.

Bottomline is, songs like 'one' and 'creeping death' were good, but they havent done anything credible in a very long time.

There's a lot of Beatles influences in Grant's songwriting. English rock bands always have a lof of influences from Beatles. That's natural. It's great if those bands can write songs in the vein of Beatles with some improvements, and Feeder always had that quality songwriting with those "improvement"s.

For example listen to "Frequency".

"Whooey" also has a lot of Bealtes in it I think.
