Granted that there are a lot of intelligence agencies (each military service has one, for example), but I knew about the NGA. Most federal government employees probably do. And the Commander-in-Chief sure as hell better know about it. This isn't rocket science. But Obama's apologists will never concede the man's naivete and inexperience. Then again, maybe we shouldn't be too hard on him. He's a domestic policy-centric president; he cares about transforming society--not national security.
