  • I just uploaded this same clip color corrected and in !080p HD

  • Where did you find this and where can I find this? They screwed up the order of the film. The munchkins' songs come before the wicked witch entrance and they left out the scarecrow and tinman parts plus there was more between the lion scene and when they enter OZ, the entrence and the merry old land of OZ scene and when the gang want to see the wizard and when they get in.There were other screw ups but I would go on too long.

  • @moviedudeinc Scenes are often moved around on super 8 digests but you are right, for some reason the editors of this digest decided to switch a lot of them. I got this on eBay.

  • I have the 200 foot all black & white silent subtitled version of this in super 8..

  • The editor seemed to favour the lion a bit.

  • thanks for posting this, do you know what year this came out on super 8 ?

  • @video77cy I'm so glad you liked it. As for when it was released, I want to say around 1977 or 1978. It was around then when these film digests were very popular. Of course, Beta and then VHS would change all that. There are those, like myself, that still love to collect film. Enjoy!

  • @GhostHost1969 thanks for the info and for posting this, have wanted to see the Super 8 of the WOO for years. Was it difficult to transfer it online? It must not have been easy.

  • @video77cy The transfer is easy, actually. A video camera captures the film as it runs. The camera's video line out and the projector's speaker line out are connected to a video to PC converter. The converter is connected to the PC via USB and records the film in real time. I use Windows Movie Maker to reduce the size of the file and post it here.

  • @GhostHost1969 thanks for the info. It sounds like a lot of work for you, but it's worth it. I see you posted other Super 8's, and I look foward to watching them. Lemme ask you, do you have any with Joan Crawford? I know some of her more recent films were on Super 8.
