Ann was dating a family friend of mine, she showed up at a party of his, but no one knew about it except but him and my dad. I was interviewing a couple of her band members, but purposely did not interview her since she was with her daughter, she later stated she appreciated that a lot.

I met the bass player about 12 years ago he was in town visiting family. I also got to see them in concert back in high school with quarterflash in the early 80s

It seems that japanese TV respects its viewers a lot. While Ann performs, (I assume) a translation of the lyrics appears in the bottom of the screen, for those who dont understand english. In Greece, nobody would bother.

Maybe the band track is recorded, but Ann's voice sounds live. Sometimes they pre-record a live version, and lip-synch to that, yet it's still original to the show.
