Alas! I had a beard going for quite some time (not terribly thick on the cheeks but the stash I let fill in as much as it was able), and on a whim I shaved it all to smooth skin. A good look on some guys but I had forgotten what a baby face I have, my chin is anything but stout. I'm letting it all grow back (I think growing the stache through the stubble phases without letting the entire face grow looks strange) and as soon as the stache comes in again it will be stache and short stubble. Oh ya.

Not for the mustache directly, but just in general it was like strangers felt comfortable coming up and talking with me about just about anything. Mustaches are absolutely the best!! I happen to have the greatest mustache in the state! Beards are ugly in the summer unless your unquestionably rich, gay, or a stupid hippie. In the winter, its okay if it's meant to keep you a little warmer, it MUST be destroyed by spring!! When I first met my ex-girlfriend's extended family, the first question her little cousin asked me was why I shaved the middle part of my mustache. I never thought it unusual until people started asking me about it. I guess me and my 'stache are special!
