This was like the WWF Warzone and Attitude of the NES era. It was a wrestling game that used key combos instead of a grappling system.

And ironically, both of them were made by Acclaim. Did they honestly believe wrestling games worked better with combos instead of a grappling system?

They're just as dumb as Inland Productions, who did WCW Nitro and Thunder on the PlayStation.

Yo, this is actually a really good video, that is viewable by audiences beyond the ones that can directly relate to it, but its too long. If you streamlined this to like 4 -5 mins, it is much more viewable by soo many more ppl. I think you could have something of a viral hit you could build upon. But I was watching it with a crowd of about 5 ppl, only 2 who could directly relate, 3 others had never played wrestling games.

This game isn't that bad. I actually own a copy of it.

Anyways...A couple of things you have wrong.

#1) There are some body slams. the rareness of them is about 6 on a scale of 1-10 but I have seen them.

#2) Some of the guys do jump off the top rope. Although it only does damage when your opponent is standing. Kinda sucks huh!?!?

Anyways Ya Gotta start somewhere...Midway IS the company that eventually released WM The Arcade game, AND THAT GAME WAS THE BOMB!

I got into mostly the retro/attitude eras again when I bought the first three volumes of the Royal Rumble. I hadn't watched any wrestling at the time in like five years previously.
