this is a cool trailer but I'm glad I didn't get to see it... I think it gives away some of the best parts especially the fact that Arnold is the good guy... they could've made it more ambiguous and really create a sense of mystery.

One kid I talked to, told me that his mother was praising TDK for being a smart thriller or something and refused to let this kid was T2, because its a dumb, mindless action film. I mean, WTF?

A lot of people became intrested in film because of T1 and T2, however no film since T2 has pushed the cyborg archetype of the SciFi genre. I think that a bunch of film makers copied things from T2, they just haven't pushed the envelope farther.

I'm not trying to say we haven't had good movies since T2, what I'm saying is T2 met the bar and set a new one. For the record I'm counting the Dark Knight as setting a new bar for the Comic Book genre, the two films are both great classics anyway

It's a feud that Batman fans started around the time The Dark Knight came out. I can't exactly get over the fact that a movie based on a comic book is actually more highly respect than T2... probably for the simple, silly reason that Arnold Schwarzenegger is the hero. That kind of thinking bugs the shit out of me.

@LukeLovesRose Not at all. TDK is great but I don't think it deserves as much recognition as it got. It's a good Batman movie, not the best. Making a "realistic" or "campy" Batman takes away all the mystery. Personally, I think the best Terminator movie will always be the 1st one because it was darker and grittier. The special effects in T2 were good for its time but with today's standards and technology its kinda dated but that's not what drives T2. It's a masterpiece in its own right.

@BKVisionFreePerView no it doesn't. John is 10 in T2 in 1994. If you actually pay attention in the beginning, when the t-1000 pulls up John's information it says he's 10 years old. Then when Arnold is explaining how Skynet was built he says that three years from then Skynet becomes self aware. Three years meaning in 1997. Get your facts right.
