  • Is it raining?

  • looks like its raining? perfect combo for this song!

  • @amoebahippie at least their a good group that got nominated, but in all honestly, who cares about those lists, only 16 year olds read those things and take them to heart

  • This song has the most beautiful use of a vocoder in any song, by any artist, ever. EVER.

  • Their music allways gives me goosebumps, this song in paticular.

  • Skinny Puppy in broad daylight?!!!

Nivek looks so much better with the shorter hairstyle (i.e. modified mohawk).

Probably keeps him a wee bit cooler onstage as well. :P

  • FUUUKKK'N GREAT!!!

  • vazz, mikor volt ez a koncert, hogy én lemaradtam róla? 2006-os feltöltés azt látom, na mindegy, elmentem volna...

  • WOW, THANKS FOR SHARING

  • excelente grupo!!!! Mexico,,,,,

  • hot, sexy, perverted, creative, universe, life & death!

  • who the fuck dislikes this video?

  • @XjojjeX only bad people...

  • really wierd to see them during the day, though a really good still.

  • wow you are right!...their contribution to the genre is really small and insignificant to millions and millions of fans the world over.....um.....right?

  • No 1

  • I enjoy how ogre always wears the best shirt and pants

  • Ogre is God!

  • Will never forget this concert...

  • "now is the only thing that's real.."

  • @msplace08 Amen

  • yeeeeeeeee

  • favorite song by skinny puppy :P

  • skinny DOMINATES THEY ARE BAD 2 THE BONE

  • @hellchild65, I realize that Images In Vouge were a synthpop act I was only pointing out that it was pre Puppy. I thought that both Cevins were part of IIV?

  • i think only Key was part of Images, cuz he said he met Ogre and they started SP together and then SP was a full time project for him.

  • which one is ceven key?

  • The madman behind the rack of electronics on the right.

The guy's crazy to see live--doing 6 different things at once.

  • @DDTea actually most of his performance is worked before the show. they're using either pro tools or propellerhead reason. you can setup a key to call up a sequence of the instrumentation. it's impossible to play all of this live, Skinny Puppy's music is too complex. but he can call it up and tweak it on the fly. search Chris Vrenna Reason, but i'm not diagreeing with you. and programming the song for a live performance is an artform itself. but he's not hitting every single key.

  • @Armagon9177 Hah, of course he's not doing *everything.* However, cEvin does do quite a bit at once--he's pretty amazing to see. During the Doomsday performance, at one point he was playing the theremin with one hand and drumming with the other.

  • @Armagon9177 exactly, Reason is perfect for this kind of performance because you can trigger individual arrangements live and on the fly, plus their running his mic through it for the vocoded parts during the chorus - beautiful

  • @DDTea saw him dj a few years back in LA - he's amazing at just doing that, Cevin Key is just the shit

  • @killerinakage Did you catch the recent Subcon Beyond-Fest? The Download/Plateau set was pretty intense...at least, I was quite happy with the evening, especially for only $15. Got my copies of Too Dark Park and the Eyes of Stanley Pain signed by cEvin.

  • this dude kicks ass

  • You are a jackass and you are getting a summary ban. I suppose you will whine about suppression of free speech? I haven't heard of it. Get off my video.

  • skhool, they didn't create the scene. Industrial as a scene started in the 70's in England with groups like Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, SPK, Coil, etc. It was more about musical experimentation, music that sounded like the machinery of the factories in the towns those groups were from. Skinny Puppy actually started life as Images In Vouge, a synth pop act, before Bill Leeb(aka Wilhelm Schroeder) joined. They changed their name and started doing darker music experimentation.

  • Images in Vouge was another band that cEvin was part of, skinny puppy is a different group.

  • @darkpoet25 Shutup fag.

  • @darkpoet25 true

  • Best Band in their genre! Puppy kicks ass!

  • Can't take the Truth!

  • They gonna be great tonight in New Mexico!!! Very excited!!!! ^_^

  • Hendrix,

Its on tonight in Dallas! Ill be there. Enjoy the show.

  • @MacabreEnt retarded

  • fucking raw!

  • I'm going to see them on the Third of december in Dallas tx... I CANNOT FUCKING WAIT!!!!!!

  • I'm catching them in DC on the 22nd of November. I'll see if I can make it to the Philly show too, and maybe the Norfolk one. For these guys, it's worth the drive. The hard part is going to be not peeking at spoilers until the show.

  • I saw them in Vancouver last night; wild, entertaining for the most part but the keyboards really let the band down - OK - there were 3 bodies on stage: vocals, drums and keys. And definitely a strong lack of talent from the keys. I saw them in 1990 and they had 2 keys and a bass. They need more bodies on stage, drums and vocals and sporadic sampling/recordings, the occasional minimum quality keyboard riff just doesn't cut it in my books. Still...VERY creative, and good music. Hope U enjoy!

  • worlock was voted the #1 freakiest vid of all time lol

    #2 was "Sober" by Tool

  • tool and SP are awesome

  • @marluxia2500 The people who voted obviously never saw a Residents video...

  • love the live band.

  • Babbler Dabbler= someone who talks lots of rubish with no sense. That is why I think its abut manson

  • Agree'd - I saw them on the Last Rights tour... OH MY FUCKING GOD.... truly life changing...

  • @1:01

i still have absolutely no idea what a "babbler dabbler" is.

  • it means, more or less, snitch who plays double game.

  • oh no doubt. When I saw this on the Mythrus tour, my mind was blown into orbit.

My friend just had a reception for his wedding and this song was on the playlist he and his wife made. I danced like never before, it was great.

This song never gets old; I've only appreciated it more and more over the years.

  • Charles Manson has been locked up since 1969 or so.

and before 1967, he was locked up then too....

interesting a man with two years of freedom is such a threat to the world.

watching his various interviews with the perspective the world is run by criminals pretending to be goodguys, or unaware that they are doing evil...it is a real mind expander when you think about it.

i think remaining silent is just as evil

    indifference to curruption

    not complaining

    everyone does that

  • One of the best industrial bands ever - far better than crap like NIN

  • Fuck yeah!

  • Epic Performance!

  • skinny puppy kicks assssss

  • I just started to listen to skinny puppy. so I wondering, do they have two singers?

  • Comment removed

  • who SAID i disliked the song? an in an interview directly from ogre's mouth, he wrote the song for himself...he being the "blue" one as in sad, and a reference to his girlfriend at the time who was sporting blue hair. a sampling from manson hardly makes the song about him and he's the last man on earth i want to think about while watching ogre perform. EVEN if ogre wants me to, he doesnt really want us to does he? As for a performer covering himself in blood...look up his interviews.

  • no,they have not.just ogre and lots of vocoder and modulators.

  • nivek fucked up on the lyrics at 2:00 and couldn't recover 'til 2:15.

  • i love watching skinny puppy live , when I first started listening to it , was hard to find clips live , thanx for uploading that ,

My second tattoo was on my leg and its a symbol of skinny puppy , pretty obvious, but not much pp know about them

Long Live Skinny puppy ....wish I was there , watching that clip

  • charles manson? ugh, that would ruin my own perspective on the song. really, it would

  • As always, music is up to your own interpretation bro. Don't let anyone try to change the personal meaning you give songs.

However, in the middle of the song, there is a guitar excerpt of "Helter Skelter" and samples of Charles Manson singing it.

  • Comment removed

  • why would anyone have to explain a disdain for charles manson??? lol! i just met ogre and forgot all of you were writing about this...i guess i could have asked him myself but he did autograph the lyrics for me. he's BEAUTIFUL!

  • listen to him for years first time i have ever seen what he looks like thank you uploader this was vary cool indeed

  • like evil...,, great...

  • This is a "Bootleg"? This sounds better than some professional live recordings

  • definitely--props to whatever crew recorded this! I definitely want to know what sort of gear they used.

  • I used to cut ogre's hair years ago !! This guy is amazing !!

  • Really?? How long ago? And where abouts was he living then?

  • I hate to admit how long ago it was !! Probably 15 years ago. He was living in Los Angeles. He always came in with a girlfriend he had at the time. I can't remember her name ????

  • That's not a recording. If you've seen this song performed live, there is a delayed echo that projects from the other side of the room. It's very cool; so what you hear is:

"Rotten, show stopper...(rotten, show stopper) skin popper (skin popper)"

  • i think it's their best song

  • This is by far the best live video of this posted. Even though he fucks up a bit during the first "chorus". We forgive you ogre.

  • ogre=god

  • This is a damn good recording.

  • Yes, this is one of the better sounding worlock videos

I'm glad they still play the older music, i thought they kind of screwed up with the new album (no offense to anyone that likes it)

  • you know whats funny? i thought the music back then was great and the vocals were terrible, now he actually sings and the music sucks, go figure

  • true pioneers. legends.

glad they're kickin', even after that bunk stunt they pulled w/ that self-titled "last" album.

  • not the best worlock live, but damn good considering that it wasn't professionally shot.

    Nice Work.

  • actually i think this is one of the best sounding worlocks ever the synth bass is particularly awesome, those double bass drum fill-ins, etc. ogre's voice is fantastic here also compare to mythrus he's stronger here.

  • He didn't seem quite as enthusiastic to be playing there as he did during the Doomsday show, but that was still a kickass performance.

  • Doomsday was definitely something special. In my humble opinion, that was the best Worlock has sounded since Ogre and cEvin reunited.

  • I'm a newer Skinny Puppy fan, but I agree, still. I really loved the Doomsday performance. But like I said, this one was still badass, and at least it shows that Ogre and co. are great performers in that no two shows sound the same.

  • true.

  • it wolud have been much better if it was inside :O but this is still great performance

  • hot

  • why do you douchebags who don't like sp keep watching sp videos and leaving douchy comment's

if u don't like refrain from fucking watch it

...i mean its bloody warlock live

a beautiful piece of work with a message behind it and its music that can really touch your soul unlike all the souless garbage coming out on the charts Puppy effin Rules

this video almost brought a tear to my eye thanks to whoever posted the vid you made my day

  • Because they like what they can hear and see.

  • Blaa Blaa Blaa

This is courageous and well done.

Give up the analysis. For some of us this is great for some of us this is crap.

But for those with ears this is daring stuff.

    Bravo and thank you.

  • this song would make sense being about Charles Manson since it does have Charles Manson quotes and sound bites/samples in it plus lyrics from Manson's fav The Beatles Song Helter Skelter he wrote it on the wall of the tate home in blood Marilyn Manson also stole the same lyrics later on prbably cuz Charles Manson loved it and Puppy already ahd it in one of their songs LOL

  • Skinny puppy rocks and all ways will.

  • that was so fucking cool

  • Sweet, he looks like my blood-soaked panties, ROLF..haha. I think someone sat on Ogre and he liked it. Great live performance.

  • the backstreet boys never cranked out a single piece of art. some music is just product.

  • oh dear lord!would you please stop the cyber bully shit!???honestly......cmon...this is warlock from puppy......and its 100%live!!!!its a great song...has been for over 15 years!!!!!!!!give it a rest ok?stop the playground fights....if you actually met echoth face 2 face both of you would run the other way because you are afraid of getting in a fight....thats why you become a "cyberbully"NOW JUST STOP THE SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • COME TO GREECE

  • i hope they came to greece

  • "The police used to watch over the people,

    now they're watching the people"

  • Holy shameless self-promtion!

Is there a video you DIDN'T post this message on?

  • Maybe it's the clothes, but he looks insanely rippe din this vid.

  • *ripped in

  • I've seen them for about 15 times now.. But it still rocks. Great quality. Great song. and great Ogre. =}}

  • hopefully seeing them in august aweeeeesomeeeee!

  • love this song gadd

  • You have to be kidding. This video has some of the best sound quality I've ever heard cap'ed on a LIVE performance video. On top of that, its the #1 best song by the #1 best fucking band EVER, making it the #1 best song ever.

  • What a bunch of moronic comments. If it's not your thing...WHY THE FUCK ARE WATCHING IT?

  • I'll second that.

  • you said that about another video

do you just go around bitching about bands you don't like trying to sound poetic/intelligent?

  • What? Your right to a degree, in an interview Kevin refered to SKinny Puppy as anti-music.

  • OMG WHAT?! Skinny Puppy are Dadaists? Tristan Tzara would be proud! (No wait, he is Dada, so he would hit things and throw feces... but I digress...)

  • I am happy that you dont like it. Your a douchbag.

  • LOL be4uknowit got busted 4 copy pasting the same snide remarks. I used to do that.. when I was 12. " BEST CHRISTIAN BAND EVER" on like Slayer webpage etc. You are just doing the exact same thing. Troll

  • If you are going to try to impress people with the posh new vocabulary words you just learned, you could at least try to learn how to spell them. It's narcissistic and masturbation you fuckwit.

  • @be4uknowit but that's the way they LIKE IT!!!! haha

  • Awsome...

  • I think Ogre looks better with long hair. But its still a good performance of Worlock (which is my favorite SP song!)

  • fucking beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I never thought I would have the chance of being at a SP concert. Listening to this song live was an unrepeatable experience. Worlock IS the best!

  • This is so f***ing good, this is electronic music when it´s best

  • well you this is a good song does not matter if you have ever been to them or not.

  • Kibaszott állat show ember. Elmebgeteg!!!! I never knew the were known in my old country. It's great nonetheless.

  • its a great song, but not their best,

i have any favourites so maybe its up in the top 5,

and ive gone past my industrial phase and SP was my fave band back then, the only thing is, i never saw them live.

got to see 242, young gods and a couple of other lesser bands, but hey, maybe ill catch them by chance one day. not convinced with his rat suit...

  • Do they really need that helter skelter sample? i mean they got a guitarist now.

  • This song is about Charles Manson, so I figure the sample is still fitting--even with William Morrison on guitar.

  • no, this song is not about charles manson, a detailed interview is on 'litany', stating its about depression and suicide and that downward spiral of negativity. SP used samples often in their music which have nothing to do with the actual song content.

  • Cheers for that, dude. I like having the background and context to Puppy songs--it adds a lot more depth to them.

  • It's weird how one of their best songs has a Verse and Chorus structure..

  • I've definitely lost my taste for SP...the only one I occasionally listen to is Rabies, which is apparently SP blasphemy. Maybe VivisectVI (the last few songs). I've realized Nivek can't possibly be considered a singer, ever. Decent production for industrial.

  • Yeah, for Puppy you definitely do need a "taste" for it in order to enjoy it. But those with the taste can't get enough of it.

  • lol i like the guy whos trying to sing along but doesnt know the words. ogre looks like hes put on alittle weight. and btw this song is god

  • i just met ogre at a REPO autographing...SO SUPER SWEET AND LOVING THIS GORGEOUS MAN IS AND NOT AN OUNCE OF FAT ON HIM. he is a lean mean sexy thing - i had my arm around his waist!! he was so wonderful to speak with. NO ONE BETTER BAD MOUTH OGRE EVER!!!

  • just a stupid question, is nivek vegetarian or vegan?

  • He eats fish on occasion, so I'd say neither.

  • I... MUST... SEE... THEM... LIVE

  • Brilliant.

  • worlock is without a doubt one of their best. period.

  • ogre's so fucking beautiful.

  • you cant be a real SP fan without liking Worlock, although i think Assimilate is their best

  • budapest rox lmao

  • Worlock is incredible.

  • how u not like this song, this is like the best song!!

  • Worlock IS their best song. Especially funky live now.

  • ^LOSER, worlock is their best song.

  • i love skinny puppy but i dont like this song. xDDDDDDDD REALLY
