Oh god, horrible memories of this game. Such a letdown after Star Control II. And if they needed to colonize planets rapidly, why didn't they bring the Shofixti?

Oh well, the Vux were nigh on useless anyways. Those ships are so slow and clumsy it's pathetic. And so easy to kill for anything fast with at least medium firing range (spathi ships make great Vux-killers.)

The VUX voice is just... I can't even begin to describe how wrong it sounds to me. D:
It's like Goofy inhaled helium and then read the lines off a sheet, without paying any attention to what he was saying. It's hard to take the VUX seriously when everything they say sounds like it should come with a :B face.

Ill-received or not, that doesn't make it any less valid a notion or a possibility. I dont see why this particular Vux can't be an ass and the race still be generally smart .
