Wow I honestly do NOT remember seeing this.... and you tell its genuinely before the cartoon - because He-man is using his AXE instead of his sword?

The animation is better than what was on the show. But Man-at-arms with no mustache is losing!

I also remember watching this commercial and it was absolutely awesome. I just wished the show’s animation was as good though. Funny, I can hear Star Wars at the background in 0:35!

Actually, the animated parts of this, is one of the animations mentioned by Gwen Wetzler, a director from the Filmation cartoon, from one of the DVD bonus features! She was asked by Lou Scheimer, the executive producer of both He-Man & She-Ra & one of the founders of Filmation back then, to do some quick animations for a trade show in the early 80's to sell the series for TV. She was able to pull a couple of Disney animators to do the animations and I guess this one made it into a commercial!

@Grimbot2 my mom couldn't buy my brother the Castle Grayskull playset because it was $90.00 for it so it was expensive so my mom couldn't buy it.
