How did I miss this wonderful video? This piece is frequently done on YouTube, but yours is my favorite. You play this with great nuance and endow it with a haunting beauty that is so often missing from other performances.
This is such a classic piece, and you bring it to a new level. Thank you so much! It's such a great rendition that you play. A fine piece of music. A very very very very very very very very fine rendition.
Thank you for sharing all of your performance videos. It sounds like you have a very fulfilling world. May I ask if this venue is an Assisted Living facility or Nursing Home?
I think you are absolutly right about that. Every pianist have his/her unique interpretation . And about the fans, i have about 30-40 emails everyday that i have to answer. Its really a wonderful feeling making people happy. I am sure you know what i am talking about. You have been making people happy way longer than me. Anyways, are you gonna post any new videos soon?
Wow, this is absolutly amazing. xia0lie, thanks a lot, i hope you have injoyed my concert last weekend. I would really like to meet you some day. I think the reason you liked my performance more is because it was live. I am sure if you would hear miss Benita Rose live, you would love her performance more than mine. Thanks alot though. You all are so kind.
Z- Thanks for defending my performance. There are as many ways to play a piece as there are players, and I personally never play anything the same way twice. You have a wonderful fan, I see. Enjoy it!
Wow, thats a really beautifuly played piece. I really love Z's performance of this impromptu more though. I saw him perform last weekend in the Majestic theatre. He is my favorite living pianist. I think his username on youtube is thepianistz. Anyways, you are a great pianist and you play very well.
A tid-bit slower than I take it; however, it does have it's moment. As for the pedaling question, I think it is just the piano, the tuning, and the action regulation.
Thank-you for your comment! Just a tip: Just use your ears when pedaling. If it's too much, just lift it up. Less is always better than too much. Hope that helps!
its not slow, but its not too fast either. normally people get this piece in 5 minutes. this speed is good. can hear the notes properly not just a bundle of notes up and down the keys.
Great!!! I'm studying this piece right now (I'm 11). I really like your interpretation, although I play it a bit faster than you. Wonderful pedaling too!!!
Fantastic. I really loved the way you plyed it.
