  • when you face dalhsims fighters you have to stay close and come forward all the time because all they do is stand bk and yoga fire and use there long reach, thats its 90% of the time.

  • Anybody else think Rufus is based on Wong? American using a Chinese style, overweight, and arrogant. Back me up here.

  • I'd like to see Wong go to Japan and play Iyo on a real arcade SF4 cabinet, rather than Iyo coming to Aerica and playing on a console on some random dudes TE stick.

  • @rtc7788 Justin started in the arcades. don't assume he'd be less effective.

  • @SonofGenkai18 I didn't say he'd be less effective? But japanese players ONLY play in the arcades so he'd be playing them at their full potential. That's the reason why whenever Justin goes to Japan and enters a tournament (which is always on real arcade cabinets) he has never got passed his first opponent who aren't even top 10 in Japan.

  • @rtc7788 google the name "gameinn" -_-

  • @SonofGenkai18 I don't see the point of your reply? That's the arcade Daigo plays at, your point? What does relevance does that have to do with Justin not being able to take on Japanese players on real arcade cabinets?

  • @rtc7788 It's also the gamer tag used by Daigo on PSN and XBL. Japenese players do play online. He's not the only one.

Also, can you name a specific tournament in which Justin Wong didn't get past the first round?

  • They started playing online ever since SSF4 came out. Im talking about SF4

I can name a couple actually

Justin enters the TRF Nakano Tournament, his first opponent is Neurosis, a Dictator player who isnt even top 10 in Japan. Justin gets eliminated.

Justin enters the Shiozawa team tournament. His team consists of fLoE, Arturo Sanchez, Marn, & Ricky Ortiz. The entire team including Justin gets eliminated by their first opponent named Aloha(also isnt top10)who defeats the entire team by himself

  • That Rufus was pretty amazing, both of the players were pretty amazing at that.

  • the crowd goes "USA~ USA~ USA~!" lol wow

  • i hate justin!

  • no hes good, the problem is that the fuckin stage is gigantic so if u dont have a fire ball its hard to chase him.

  • woah woah

at the very end did he go from the jesus kick to tornado cancel to ultra??? can you do that?

i didn't know you can cancel the tornado for ultra

    is it for distance?

  • Its as if Justin doesnt show respect to the japanese players. Same as at evo. Wtf he was like screaming when he was winning with Balrog and daigo was sitting calmly on thne chair. Im sure daigo must have said in himself what a pathatic kid. Justin needs some manners rly he needs.

  • maybe because its so satisfying he needs to act like that to calm himself down?

  • What happened to J.Wong playing as Chun Li? Someone tell him there's no parry system anymore, its safe to use her again!

  • lol

  • What the heck are you talking about?

That's Iyo's Dhalsim. Daigo plays Ryu.

This match is Iyo vs Justin, not Daigo vs Justin.

Justin mains Rufus, Balrog is his secondary and Abel his 3rd.

  • uh... im pretty sure that Iyo's Dhalsim is sicker than Daigo's..Dhalsim..?

  • stop acting smart fag

  • your clueless

  • justin wong nice grade Cs at the end u fukin peice of shit.

stop basing yourself on Rufus u fat bastard

  • just a game calm urself

  • 5:06 LOL at u Justin...

  • Good game. I do, however, hate the way Justin has to celebrate after EVERY WIN.

Would hate to play against him.

  • id punch that fat cunt

  • i wld too

  • watch daigo 4/0 him in the finals then the japanese don't celebrate pretty much anything lol, I see nothing wrong with him celebrating knowing that he got a win (but yeah ,he should have celebrated in the end, not after each round)

  • that was a great fight. i was wondering how justin was going 2 get inside, then i noticed he'd catch him from a teleport. iyo is 1 nasty dhalsim.

  • So this guy mains Rufus. He had really impressed me when i saw some vids of him using Sakura and i kinda hoped that was his main. Well that sucks would be nice to see a Sakura used in the high level tournaments

  • i believe its arcade only - sakura is a console character. but i agree... sakuras a beast.

  • how was justin able to beat iyo(who almost beat diago) but, got totally owned by daigo

  • just because "A" beats "B" and "B" owns "C" doesnt mean that "A" beats "C" .. hope u get what i mean.. xD through the Characters and their playstyles there is something like a rock-paper-scissor system but more individual..

  • It's called playing to the crowd in a casual exhibition match.

Who cares if people get excited for winning, the SF4 international police ? Gimme a break.

  • rufus pwned USA!!!!! LOL

  • Rufus IS the USA player silly.

  • i know youtube isnt the place to be correcting ppl tho if so you have mcuh more work to do.

  • Youtube is a good place to have great comebacks though, it seems.

  • btw this video is EAR RAPE

  • Yes, mute before watching.

  • i dont know anything about justin except i hear he is good but damn....do you have to act soo gay/and the asian guy is just cool chillin

from the comments i see he's not well liked but you have to acknowledge his skills

  • Justin Wong is an amazing player. Fuck all who say hes a prick. You're just a bunch of britfags. EVERYWHERE you hear people saying "OH JAPAN ALWAYS WINS. NOONE STANDS A CHANCE." Well now the USA has Justin, and we stand a fucking chance. Of course we're gonna cheer our country on! Whats the god damn shame in that? We're not being arrogant, We're fucking proud that we got so far going up against the "Inevitable winners". Kindof a "WHAT NOW!" moment. If anyone's being arrogant, its the japophiles.

  • regardless of what you say no1 is more arrogant than americans and asians are polite and humbled(shy even)....but whatever

  • and weird as fuck

  • Europeans are more arrogant, actually.

  • lmao are you serious? thats about as ignorant as saying black people only like fried chicken...your biased scrubdom goes beyond streetfighter...really...asain people are just like anyone else....check out the sbo8 grandfinals and see if you agree with your own statement

  • this is the same person who made the comment/i fucking hate american people/so much so that i hate my family who live in america/the few asian people i have known are nice/indians are also cool with me/if you go and live in america you become an asshole/try and tell me i'm wrong but who gives fuck

  • wtf ur off on a tangent nigga, u goin nutz

  • I've never seen any other player get so excited to win, so much as to raise the roof.

  • Justin is such a twat, watch his incredibly quick exit after his match with Daigo, the guy absolutely put the guy into the ground. He has absolutely no skill, even in this video you can see he is quite predictable with his move combos.

  • Man, I ain't a fan of Wong, but to say he has no skill is completely ridiculous. And leaving immediately after getting beaten by Daigo is probably understandable. Being a good loser is one thing, but having an entire hall of people going "HAY THIS IS LIKE THAT ONE INCREDIBLY WIDESPREAD VIDEO WHERE DAIGO TOTALLY RAPED YOU HEY MAN WHAT'S IT LIKE TO BE THAT DUDE'S BITCH MAN I BET YOU'RE PRETTY FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW" would probably drive Saint fuckin' Sebastian to punch someone.

  • Yeah but the reason why he would get such a response is because he IS such a douchebag. You're right, to say he has absolutely no skill is riculous, it's extreme - still, I can't acknowledge someone to have skill if they're going to be an asshole.

  • real talk you have no claim to back that up really, you dont him just like you dont kno daigo irl, fall back

  • Obviously you have a hard time reading people's actions with their personality. Justin is an obnoxious, arrogant twat.

  • i kno justin personally and u kno shit apparently so jus stop talkin

  • Then you can tell him for me that he's an asshat :D

  • haha I agree with torment3d. frenzii3s = justin wong nuthugger

  • S.T.F.U i cant stand a hater justin has skills...yea he got whiped in the finals but he would do the same thing to you

  • dick head ~justin Wong.....

    sick act....

  • big up the dhalsim player!! everyone calls him cheap and shit but really and truly he is very tactical player. so those who always bitch about him then i think ur playing the wrong type of game. Ryu,Ken,Sagat thats all they use and play online. LOL

  • Wow Justin really is an arrogant bastard.

  • hes arrogant because he kicked that annoying dhalsims ass?

  • no he's arrogant because he thinks he's top shit, when he's not.

  • He doesn't have to think he's top shit. He's the number 1 player in america and he beat the korean and japanese national champion. Nobody else can say they did that right now.

  • No, he's lost terribly twice against Japan's Daigo.

  • And? what's your point? Do you know how to read. Are you saying justin is not the 1 player in america? or are you saying he didn't beat the korean and national champion?

  • Guess. It isn't hard.

  • Well obviously it's a fact that he beat the korean and national champ. I don't see how you can throw an argument that he is not the number 1 player in America. He has won the most tournaments in america and is the gamestop national champion. In case you didn't know, Daigo is not an american player, he is from japan.

  • Um, I never started an argument about his status as an American player. I also stated that he lost terribly twice against Japan's Daigo - so yes, I know he is not from America. Are you looking at another conversation perhaps?

  • Stupid chinamen americans have no class. Don't know how to act on stage. I thought I was looking at a baboon.

  • Haha i wish when Daigo beats Justin. Daigo leans over to Justin and whispers learn some respect punk.

  • LOL I wish that would have happend too :)

  • Did I hear some pillocks in the background chanting "U S A U S A"? wtf

Respect aside, acting macho over a videogame is just...

  • Rufus is the American character. I'm sure if Rufus was a real person, he would chant USA! too.

  • As opposed to Ken Masters?

  • Yeah Justin was doing all that fist pumping when he beat Pungko and Iyo. I don't know if it's disrespectful but it was kinda inappropriate. Can't blame him though, Iyo is a really tough opponent; he was probably pleased with his performance.

  • lol

  • Lol i thought it was kinda funny how Justin celebrated after every time he won with an ultra but come on, he's playing against the japanese and theyre humble as fuck. You gotta show some respect.

  • It's called good sportsmanship. Who knows what that is amirite? Oh wait both Iyo and Daigo did/do.

  • From what I know this is one of the least disrespectful thing Justin has done.

He has a trademark celebratory pose and thats fine.

But I've seen clips of him getting up all in his opponents face when he wins. Now THAT is just rude. good thing he constantly gets humbled by Daigo.

  • Very rude.

  • where can i see Poongko's entrance

  • Sim is such a hard match for Rufus, im sure he was just amped up over winning that set. Celebrating a hard earned match isnt disrespectful.

  • Everyone should be allowed to enjoy their victory in whatever way they please as long as he/she doesn't take it to far. Plus Who the fuck really cares.

  • Justin is so disrespectful. You don't see Daigo dancing around or raising the roof when he wins. This is why they made the american character fat and annoying.

  • lol

  • not disrespectful to celebrate if you enjoy victory. Unless he takes his pants down and starts mooning daigo that would be a different story so sorry, no disrespect.

  • lol

wong deserves to celebrate after killing a turtling bastard like iyo.

  • wong use to be the biggest turtle himself... lol

  • the germans used to be bad people... lol

    (parallels in my statement kthx)

  • How is it disrespectful to get excited that you won a match against one of Japan's best? were not in Japan so get over it.

  • Ken and Guile are american, lol

  • Yeah but Ken and Guile were made for street fighter 2 which was back in 1991 (i think)

I guess they didn't think we were douchebags back then. But now is a different story.

  • you really think japan is up on current events anywhere outside of their home country (excluding what they see sporadically on TV)? rufus was designed ENTIRELY around their desire to get people to say "WTF" (he's SF4's Blanka). they weren't trying to make a statement about the eating habits of americans. the fact that it has some ring of truth is a complete coincidence. look at sheva (japan's idea of a black woman): she's a brown-skinned japanese person

  • I take it you never played Dead Rising another Capcom game. Capcom has always been known to put small social commentary in some of their games. Where do you think Mikami got the idea for the diabolic Umbrella Pharmaceuticals? I'm not saying Rufus was or wasn't intended as a satire of American obesity but Capcom has in the past displayed how should I say, unique observances of American culture.

  • replace "unique" with "intensely biased" and i'll concede your point

  • Or the fact that he talks to much and is not a Blanka but America's answer to a Sammo Hung type character? Tekken did the samewith "Bob"

  • Rufus's range on his Ultra is ridiculous!!!

  • WOW

  • Didn't Daigo like murdered them both?

  • WOHOOOO GO JUSTIN!!!!

  • He got the stuffing beat out of him by Daigo again.

  • That doesnt mean he's a bad player, Daigo is fucking amazing and for Justin to be able to beat Iyo is a big deal. Why the hate on Justin Wong?

  • look at justin celebrate at the end... typical american! gotta love it

  • Lmao, way to stereo-type. You fail.

  • Comment removed

  • I think that Justin's attitude is GREAT.

e.g. He raises his arms with the character whenever he wins a round with Rufus' super. VERY nice touch.

I love how he is egging on the crowd to cheer for him, and generally fortifying the American stereotype. :) The world expects it anyway, why not run with it?

    Shows personality, shows passion, shows

confidence, all the more when the

Asians *don't* exhibit any distinct personality.

    Soooooo American!

    USA #1!

  • wth? justin is asian. but anyways, i hope more people don't start picking up sim because of iyo's awesome performance in the tourney. i hate playing against sims :\

  • I shouldn't have to explain this, but:

    Justin's *ethnicity* is Asian.

His *culture* -- which is far more influential on his character -- is American.

If you need proof, note that all of the participants in these SF4 championship videos are of Asian descent, yet Justin is the only one who behaves in the stereotypically Western fashion.

    Obviously.

  • your attempts to label people within your western stereotypical structures and labels is very amusing. its funny you should mention that one can act in a "stereotypically western fashion". did you even think before typing that out? what would make you presume to think that one is acting in a western fashion??

  • So Arrogant ;)

  • Western fashion ? Clearly you didn't see Poongko's entrance.

  • Both Poongko and Justin had no class whatsoever and both ended up loosing.

  • what happened in poongko's entrance?

  • Calm down guys, i'm all for it. I'm asian too btw.

  • Comment removed

  • what's wrong with a little joy in victory over a worthy opponent? aren't moments like that what people compete for?

  • Its all about class and respect for the game and spirit of competition. Yes you won but you do not show up your opponent after unleashing an ultra or winning a round, and then laying it all out at the end of the match, thats why Daigo raped Justin twice as hard as planned when he faced him.
