  • I love songs with true meanings, where the artists performs from the heart and soul.

  • I wish I'd seen these guys in their prime :) It just goes to show you; not all 20 year olds listen to the shitty over-syntesized crap of today.

  • 12 people do not know good music when they hear it!

  • I LOVE this song! One of my all time favs! The only bad thing about this song, it's only 2:12 mins long.

  • Wish I had Justin Biebers email address so I could send him this so he can hear what REAL music is like.

  • @72Chadwick Biebs is a performer only, groups like the Zombies are on a completely other level, on tour, performing and writing songs as a group is a way more challenging! And sure times ten more enjoyable, Bieber will never know...

  • Great, Great song!!!!!! Thanks for uploading this zamboni1732

  • The sixties were great times for music...simple as.....

  • 2012! I have 16! And I likes this very much!

  • tennis has a cool cover

  • They sounded great then and now

  • they never got there due ---great band ---some many hits wonderful band

  • A great great song -- still and evermore

  • have anyone heard of the Debia Patterson version?

  • 8 people got told no

  • delete the fucking video asshat

  • @poopyscoopy5 why?

  • I'm glad not married that way I can still dream about young girls with songs like these and occasionally get my paws on one like the little 20 yr old fox I squeezed and kissed on the cheek yesterday. You can have your happy 35 anniversary.

  • @flyinv1967 You know you sound like a pedophile, don't you?

  • @Glisterolo you know you sound like a self righteous moron.shes 20yrs old.little in size 5'2. you know YOU sound like pedophile

  • @flyinv1967 Maybe I just misunderstood your comment, I'm not English. I only thought that if you didn't know her, it could have been quite nasty... But if you knew her and you were friends, that's all right.

  • @Glisterolo I'm waving the peace sign smile smile :)

  • @flyinv1967 *runs away*

  • @kbs1212 .

  • there is nothing like 60s music simply the best

  • Slow it down to 1/2 speed and enjoy.

  • @StansyFTW that seems cool slowing it down 1/2 how could I do that

  • @williaml3451 In the bottom right corner it says "Normal" just click that and switch it to 1/2. It's kind of creepy but still pretty nice.

  • This song instills in me a feeling very akin to fear or awe, how deep it touches my heart.

  • When I listen to songs from the '60s; I can actually smell the air of the warm summer's day and get that same feeling that comes from a period when music actually meant something.

  • @RandyBful1 I tend to agree. I always say the memories are so strong you can taste almost taste it

  • @RandyBful1 As one who remembers these songs so clearly and the memories, and your smell memory is your best and longest,I remember what cologne I used then and still use its called JADE EAST,what memories

  • a perfect pop song really great miss those days i do

  • have u guys seen the tennis remake of this song?

  • What a solid track - the Tennis cover is pretty decent as well but this has such a warm feeling to it.

  • nice? your kidding. this is a great one from these boys.... love those background vocals

  • The British invasion! Why were American parents so freaked out by the sound? It may not have been Peter, Paul & Mary, but this wasn't Chicago, or Mississippi Delta Blues. Not particularly loud or lurid! Of course nearly 50 years on this is still a nice listen!

  • very nice

  • While I do feel lucky to have grown up with some wonderful bands. I really wish I could have grown up when the pop singles from about 62-65 were what was being played on the radio as brand new. How exciting!! It was new and not very derivative.

  • I'm about to sample this and make a hip hop beat .

  • @zannythatguy Really? Seems like a hard sample to flip.

  • @ShadowsHaveShadows1 im young but i got some talent . . . just the first couple bars and the "No No No: part

  • @zannythatguy oh, well good luck. I make beats too.

  • @zannythatguy

    soundcloud. com /viceberg-slim

  • the best thing the british did was kill princess di

  • Geez, this really is an awesome song...brings back some great memories of when the British Invasion was at its peak! Super song from a fabulous era...makes me sad to think it's gone...

  • This does sound really good...jazzy cool

  • I thought The Beatles..... No, both of these bands were ahead of their time.

  • No one can beat the classics <3

  • I wonder whether they used a click track? The rhythm and feel is rock solid.

  • WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF BEST SONGS OF THE 60'S . EXCELLENT POST THANK YOU . WE ARE SOUTHERN CAL.

  • What a great song. I wish I could go back and relive those days. I love the 60's music<3

  • It's hard to beat that '60s sound.

  • Yes.

  • A Zombie is also a drink! LOL

  • DAMM GOOD SONG WE ARE SOUTHERN CAL.

  • The Zombies are great. But I've seen so much Zombie carnage in movies, that It Is kinda disturbing to have a name like that for a band.

  • @BobRobertTheMusicMan- Are you serious? Haha.

  • @BobRobertTheMusicMan Interestingly, The Zombies were around before the idea of flesh eating undead people was around in pop culture. I guess they just heard the word somwhere and thought it sounded cool.

  • @FetaCheese222 cool.

  • Cool and in luv.

  • Great remastering!

  • LOve it thats why i got these guys on record

  • Well this is a great disappointment... When my date said she liked The Zombies I was thinking about a Death Metal band or something...

  • @rongal50 Maybe you and your date can share a tender moment with the song covered in this commercial

By the Canadian band Kittie (sadly not released) -- /watch?v=szvE7e6vy0g

    Here's a standard version -- /watch?v=ANGgRiw9XUE

  • @rongal50 get out

  • @rongal50 i bet she was disappointed that you like death metal.

  • @rongal50 You're pretty lucky to have a date who likes The Zombies.

  • Amazing song. I love music of the past, it just helps me get away from everything that bothers me. Simply amazing.

  • My band does this song. The young and old really like it. The young think that we wrote it and the old always dance to it. Classic all the way.

  • finally some music

  • Well said, 'wearyman;...!!

Love the Zombies..., they have the hooks that knock me out !

  • @steveandrobbia I agree there's nothing wrong with being enthusiastic about a genre, what I am saying is there is no need to be negative about other peoples choices.

  • A great song back in the day!!

  • Unless this guy was a schizo singing to himself, he's got no chance of keeping this girl. Still a great track though, however I'm sure if I pleaded with any guy NOT to date or be with a girl I cared about, he'd tell me to go to hell.

  • After REALLY listening to the lyrics, it's kind of depressing because it's a lost cause for the guy. I'm not sure if it was WHILE he was dating her she was unfaithful or AFTER they broke up or if it's just a girl he had a fling and became obsessed with. To be honest even a best friend would ignore his friend's pleas over a woman. So I doubt he would listen to this girl's ex-boyfriend's (who would be a complete stranger by the way)pleas to not date her or see her. Maybe I'm alone on this here.

  • I still like Juice Newton's version the best - it sounds more alive to me.

  • MAN! Takes me back!

  • I find myself revisiting these songs from my early youth. Songs with meaning.

  • @vamidnitefantasy Golden age thinking for the win *sarcasm*.

  • Bill Gates in this '60s band too!

  • great song

  • one of the great british imports I can really identify with.

  • Didn't Colin Blunstone do the lead vocal here, as well as a member of the Alan Parsons Project fifteen or so years later on "Old and Wise" What a comeback, two great songs from two different eras. Love 'em both!

  • @74bshs Fab, man! Great connection!

  • I have always been open to all types of music some I like better than others but you have to give them a listen before you judge.

  • 4 people are retarded here.wtf..

  • @camelguy12 Lol the camel guy damn your still alive dude i figured you would be in the cancer war by now

  • Fantastic follow up to She`s not there but in the UK sadly lost its way while doing well in the States. Its all about opinions but i think they were unlucky. managed to see the latest invention of the Zombies last year and Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent have talent in abundance.

  • Zombies, where cool all there where good

  • A good band that didn't get the breaks

  • gaga will never be gone unfortunately too many gays look up to her literally..not saying its a bad thing its the truth though lol but zombies are the bomb anyways!!!

  • @momike99 you made that comment "1 year ago"... and she has a concert tonight xD (btw i hate lady gaga... im just sayin)

  • Its a good song but remasted is fucking lame i like the way it sounded orginaly

  • @MrConsityis3 - you mean how it sounded on a 45 or AM radio? Come on, man, stop. I was there then. Ain't no way you got the clarity of the drums or piano but ESPECIALLY the bass on the original. Unless of course you worked in a recording studio or were lucky enough to afford a high quality hi-fi component stereo and had the master LP. I loved this song then but I'm CRAZY about it now! It's far better than good; it's a masterpiece. There ain't many who could pull off those tempo overlays.

  • @wiseoldude You mean the "master tape". They weren't crazy enough to archive things on LP.

  • @FetaCheese222 - My bad! :-)

  • @MrConsityis3 All remastering really means is the EQ and compression. Usually they do with on a new transfer from the original master track.

  • Anytime I hear someone start to sing kumbaya I want to punch them out.

  • One of the great British Invasion groups.

  • Man they remind me of The Beatles

  • @historygeek101

fail troll is fail. hows are they even like the beatles?

  • Right on The Zombies. ;)

  • the thinking mans rock group

  • Love this song and it gets better by each play.

  • This song is a perfect mix of oddness and catchiness

  • watch?v=46CNp89_52Y

  • that's nice, bring sexutality preferences into it....you're gonna get far in life....

  • @penny60995 i'm sure singing kumbaya with everyone will get you far

  • Look, I'm not saying you have to go all lovey dovey hippie. I just think constantly bringing "who's best" into it gets a little annoying. You wanna go on a rant about who's stupid or whatever, do it on your own, just don't ruin a good song with your ugly narcissism.

  • @momike99 I hope it will be a piece of shit heart attack

  • Ok people just because you like one band, doesn't mean you have to trash another. Why can't we just love the music?

  • @penny60995 cause we're not all homos

  • Love this...LOVE this!

  • @momike99 haha right on!!

  • Tell the sadness NO NO NO NO NO !!!

  • hahah dig this

  • Nice song..

  • @DanielJoseDiego stupid beatles? hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha........ what a fuckin yay hoo......

  • @momike99 I'd already forgotten Lady Gaga till i read this comment lol

I agree up till about the 80s/early 90s music has been timeless. But now its all yawn factor and garbage like that

  • @DanielJoseDiego that's just a fact

  • The bridge on this song is really beautiful, wonderful music along with the gorgeous voice of Colin Blunstone

  • @momike99 lady who the?

  • omg it seem like every 60's rock band is amazing! British bands are by far the best compared to the ones in north america.

  • @sukkkmyballs

well actually a lot of credit is given by UK bands to the culture and other bands of the US. Most UK bands came to the US in their time. .. Not meant to diss any countries though..

  • i think the zomnies r better than the beetles they sound less pop

  • The only problem I had with the Beetles is they stole the limelight from a lot of other great groups of the 60's. Animal, Zombies Yardbirds, the list goes on great groups on par with the Beetles

  • The ONLY thing off concerning this song is that it is much too short! This is one of the all-time Great Songs. And I mean ALL TIMES! Its beat changes, interspersion and simultaneous coincidences are pure GENIUS. Even the voices harmonize different beats. Yes, the lyrics are of young love. But the MUSIC is AGELESS!!! Thank you for posting this excellent recording of genius!

  • ahhh young love...

  • Always loved these guys.

  • @momike99 -Couldn't agree with you more about lady cah cah. Classic rock rules!

  • Tell her YES, BABY then do the deed and then tell her , NO !!

  • @momike99 who?

  • i LOVE this track when it comes on AM radio.....SO BEAUTIFUL !!

  • Anybody else see the similarity with it wont be long, the beatles song?

  • @KurtCobainof21 yea i thought it was the beatles the first time i heard it

  • One of the best 60's songs, hand in hand with their SHE'S NOT THERE.

  • @kinkybeatle who's not where?

  • Ahhhh...what a song, and what memories it brings back to me. I can almost smell the Jade East, British Sterling, Hai Karate, and English Leather cologne we teenage boys wore! :)

  • @MrBadgerFan

I had forgotten about all those colognes that the guys wore. Thanks for bringing back that memory to this girl:).

  • Yeah. I know she's the kind of girl who'd throw away.

  • Pretty cool song-although it's from 1965! ;-)

  • the zombies and the beatles are beast(:

  • if u agree with me put a thumbsup, the 60`s and 70`s will NEVER EVER die, keep the fire burning long live the zombies, edison lighthouse, the beatles, etc. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great band, but since it is digitally remastered it took away the 1960's sound. It's too pure, not the way it sounded the first time I heard it. But thanks for the post

  • @Medivac12 Amen to that!!!

  • @momike99 That's what they said about Britney Spears about twelve years ago.

  • @velvettears81969 And who gives a shit about britney spears anymore?

  • @zamboni1732 All the members except one. I forget which member passed away

  • All I can say is, "I don't KNOW, KNOW, KNOW, NO NO NO!" But adore this one!

  • The Zombies sound transports me back to 1966 like a time warp.

    First love, pencil-cut pants, turtle-necks, Beatle-haircut, Shindig...

The ambiance these songs evoke is overwhelmingly nostalgic.

  • What memories this wonderful song brings back.

  • People need to grow up. Music is an immensely personal thing. Just because you like one type of music doesn't mean its the only kind of music worth listening to. Its all about what you can relate to. So while for people like me (and presumably most other people watching this video) its music like the zombies, for other people it can be the jonas brothers and thats fine. The only thing that matters is that someone somewhere can relate to a song. the fact that it isn't you dont make it worthless

  • @wearyman4031 Yes yes sir i love this comment

  • @wearyman4031 it doesn't mean your worthless if you listen to jonas brothers or any of today's music, it just means you don't have good taste in music. 60's and 70's music was definetely the best era of music back when they played real instruments and sang their own songs and when you actually had to have talent. but i agree about argueing all the time i try to just listen to the music i like and let every one else be

  • @shawndixon13 Jesus, their comment went right over your head. You're doing exactly what they're saying not to do.

  • @wearyman4031 ......true. but that's not to say you can't be enthusiastic about a particular genre. "music can be too big for words."

  • great song

  • Clasic British Invasion flavor.

  • God, I wish i could watch at least one song on youtube without people commenting "this music is brilliant, fuck Jonas and Bieber!", so goddamn annoying.

  • @DemiSonic Oh, I completely agree! I really wish people would just post positive comments about the music, maybe share a memory or two.

  • i love this song so much, and im 12. all the other crap like rap and hip hop by new boyz and katy perry its all shitty music, this is real music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lady gaga
