Please i need your help =(( i don't do alpha patterns , but i want to make a bracelet with rows of muliple colors & i don't know how to do it,they told me i should do it using an alpha pattern & i saw your video on how to do a letter bracelet "the letter F " & i understod it .. but i still don't know how to do rows of colors ... can you please help me cause i don't knw anyone else who would :S
you are a very skilled girl when i do it i always mess up lolz :D well just so you know im on my sisters account lolz i like making bracelets for my friends :D
@simplemajik "the four type of knots" video explains it. Go to my channel and click "New to friendship bracelets? Start HERE!" and it will take you to the playlist containing all of the beginner videos.
Glad you're safe! I just wanted to know-I have a website with a couple of my friends making bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc. and I wanted to know how I would ask someone for the measurement of their finger. Ha ha kind of a weird question I just wanted to know. Thank you!
@karahhhhx3 Ask them to wrap a string firmly around their finger and tell you the measurement in Centimeters. Since these rings stretch a bit I'd make it about 1-2cm shorter than the length they tell you.
@bowi3boy Fingers come in all different sizes so yeah, it does. You need to make it tailor made to your finger. It should probably be about a centimeter or so smaller than your finger so the ring will stay on better.
@bmj200 I try... even if it gets frustrating sometimes since quite a few people don't seem to read descriptions or search for things on their own before asking.
@Alm0nd396 I want to say you may be pulling too tightly. Try to loosen up the tension of your knots a little bit and if that doesn't work check out my ☼ Beginner Basics playlist... I have other videos on how to pull the strings and other issues you might have when making the knots.
Hi I want to make this as a bracelet, but have it a bit thicker. Do you think doubling up the strings would work? As in I do the fk's and bk's and whatnot with two strings in my hand instead of one, so in total I'd be using 8 strands.
@xDbritt Yeah, you can double up the strings. Just make sure to keep them together (you may have to pull the strings separately when tightening if you notice one of the two strands didn't conform to the knot properly) otherwise you should be fine.
@egkforce Just make a larger pattern (making sure to keep it loose- meaning don't knot it at the beginning like a bracelet) and when it is long enough to become a ring just tie the first top string to the first bottom string, second to the second, third to the third and so on. It doesn't matter what pattern you use, the method will be the exact same.
I used Krazy Glue. Seemed to work the same. Just have to be careful because it dries really fast and it's a really strong adhesive. Love your youtube channel, btw. =)
@inuchan1992 I just know when crazy glue touches fabric it heats up for some crazy reason and can cause "burns" if you aren't careful- or at least it says that on the package. I also know it becomes scratchy when it's on fabrics... but if it worked for you that's good. It is a very strong hold, I just would question the comfort because of my experiences with it.
@FluffyBunny3451 I want to say tack glue is much stronger when dry but I could be wrong, you can try Elmer's I just don't know how good it would hold up long term since I've never tried using it on bracelets.
Blame the vicodin I've been on from the surgery! (No, this is not condoning drug use- I really do need the stuff at this point in time to manage pain... I do feel a little loopy due to taking it so excuse my randomness and/or stupid antics.)
I was doing this along with the video, once you said, "Don't cut the knot." BOOM! I cut the knot...

@elizabethsoto23 lol... Well, luckily it's a tiny ring so it can be done again easily.

Another good way to seal your knots is to put a dab of glue on the strings before you tie your knots.

@dmschaefer1014 Yeah, I do that when I tie on new strings with my alphas. =3

I live in Narnia we have no tacky Glue... Wat do i use???
coloradogirl200 1 month ago 2
@coloradogirl200 Fabric glue would work or simply sewing the loose extra thread back through the back side of the bracelet to keep it secure.

do you have to glue
it???

Not Being Mean, But You Say Inches In Almost All Your Vids. & It's Supposed To Be Cm. Cuz Inches Are Huge For This Kind Of Stuff.
itsbibibxtchxx 4 months ago
@itsbibibxtchxx No. I say inches because I mean inches. I've made these bracelets for 15 years I think I know what I mean.
That said- I have a special video for you. Watch this:

do we have to use tacky glue, or can we use regular elmer's glue?
OMGSquishyXPD 5 months ago
@OMGSquishyXPD I use tacky glue because it seems to hold up well on fabric. Elmer's might work but I don't know how well.
