I really want to visit Israel because of the histroy there. I am christian, so I've always wanted to see the beginging of the world. =] I hope my beliefs dont make anyone on here angry.
I come to admit the state of roads in Israel is somewhat better than in US. But the cars they use there though mostly new are from the cheapest models you can get. I heard their taxis policies make it cost three times the original price. I've been to Israel twice both times driving rented cars my firm arranged for me so I had to face the lack of model range choice.
Though they paid up to hundred bucks per day for it I was put into tiny chip french and korean vehicles with engine's displacement something about 80 cubic inch. You won't believe it, even my bike has almost twice of it.
That is mostly true, although the most common cars in Israel are actually of Japanese make (apparently the Mazda 3 is the most selling car, with Honda not too far behind).
Size-wise, it is a fairly common thing not just in Israel, but also in Europe. 80 cubic inches is about 1.3 L. I'd say 1.6 - 2.0 L nowadays would be much more common. Gas is much more expensive than in the US as well.
But you're completely right about the taxes. It more or less doubles the cost of most cars.
I also enjoy this type of videos.... I love driving, specially in Europe, where the speed rules your body and you feel the need to speed up to over 130 mph!!! Except Poland, Polish Roads are shit just like moroccan roads, with only one line...Ukraine's roads are more than sub sub developed and Belarus is bullshit... In France the Speed Limit is 130 kph, but the cops let you unbothered till 180kph... In Germany you may speed all what you want as most of the rest of Europe...
The so called Palestinian people there now are no more than Egyptian Squatters, Palestine "Israel" Belongs to the Jewish people, given to them by God.
no u dush, Palestine was really prosperous before 1948. It was one of the most prosperous in the Middle East. If it was left alone it would be thriving more than Dubai is.
the only reason it had anything in 1948 is because of Jews, not Arabs. Another Arab fantasy. Lebanon was a great place too and look what you fanatics did to it.

well ur wrong. The population of jew was 1 percent in 1900. They did shit in palestine. The zionists fucked it up. The architecture in Palestine is Arabic and Islamic.
you know, psychologists have identified this problem you Arab and other Jew haters have as transference. You feel inferior and like failures and try to put all your self hate off onto others. That is why you praise suicidal lunatics who strap on bombs and try to take out anyone they can with them and also create a mythological history that justifies the crude racist and unbending hate expressed for others. If the Arab nationalists had succeeded you would not be so hate filled . Learn to love.
I see the highway signage shares the same colors as the US Interstste system. I also noticed alot of traffic circle, not that common here in the states, 25Km what is that about 40 miles give or take, that might get you to the other side of a county here in Texas
Thanks for the comments. Actually, 25 km is about 16 miles :) Israel is a very small country. The highway signage generally looks similar to the US, but the colours are actually a little different. Destinations pointing to and along freeways are blue (unlike green in the US), but signage along non-freeway roads and expressways, and signs on freeways pointing to non-freeways are green, and are by far the most common type :)
timmo - everybody speaks english is israel. It's not very wealthy compared to UK, but very wealthy compared to middle eastern and developing countries.
Well, there actually are quite a lot of subtle differences (traffic lights are one example), but that is not really the point. There are many such videos from around the world, some people (like me) like them :) It also shows Israel's modern road network.
Fuck all Jew-haters. On second thought, *don't* fuck them for they might enjoy it!

forget palestine
what I want is Israel and lebanon make peace, so we can be accesible to each other
we both have beautifull country
Israel have better roads, we have more nature
even tho, I prefer lebanese roads, because we have more fun on it :P
Israel roads are like europeans road, and I get very bored on it, but it's good from time to time to calm your mind

I too hope that one day Israelis and Lebanese can drive through each other's borders.
